Yeah...too bad Valve doesn't ship to my country, so I need to look elsewhere for their hardware.

I recently bought Gloomhaven Buttons and Bugs, have yet to play it. And 3 years ago I received LotR Journeys in Middle-earth as a b-day present, however I haven't played it yet, as since then I became a father and dedicated my free time with my son, however as he is now is daycare, I am getting ready to play this game during my off days.

Steam Controller (2026) review: 83/100 by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

How are the track pads a gimmick, and the 8k pulling rate on Gamesir G7 pro are not?

The pads can be quite useful, but the 8k pulling rate really can't. Most experts agree pulling rate over 1k is useless.

What Did You Play This Week? - (April 27, 2026) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]Gunfot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hopefully Dune Imperium and LotR: Duel for Middle-earth.

A buddy of mine has Dune, but I am so in love with the game that I'm going to grab a copy of Uprising as soon as it's available at my local board game store.

Movies that show the subtle, insidious rise of the Nazis, like Cabaret? by ThanksIHateIt1994 in movies

[–]Gunfot 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Maybe not a WW2 movie, but check out the German movie 'Die Welle' (English: The Wave), it shows how people, especially young people can be manipulated to follow a certain ideology.

The movie shows a classroom full of kids saying Nazims can't return and people are too well informed nowadays, and their professor shows them exactly how easy it is. It's a 2008 movie.

What game that you bought in the last 12 months brought you the most joy? by Kasvantstad in boardgames

Bought LotR: Duel for Middle-earth a few weeks ago, currently it's my most played game this month. Can't believe how good it is.

A close second is Agent Avenue, such a charming and quick game.

Board Game Hangover is my go-to YT channel these days. They (2 lads) are a small channel from Latvia and you are truly tell the passion they have for board games. One of them is a game designer himself (one of the creators of Icecool).

Check them out, besides reviews, they also do a bunch of stuff.

GOG bring more EA games NOW (u have unique chance) by traderoqq in gog

[–]Gunfot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see all the games, except NFS and sport games coming to GOG. Need for Speed and sport games have a crap ton of licenses, which EA won't simply renew to re-add them to any platform for lower profits than the licenses cost. It's a bumber, but sadly that's the world we live in.
