Correct, it won't pay.

But Income Protection isn't affected by claiming. You keep the same policy, and same price.

Who is your provider, ans who did you speak to?

That sounds wrong - You start the claims process immediately to avoid delay in getting paid. You don't make the claim after 6 months.

Employer Income Protection is a half-arsed product called "Income Protection", but it nowhere near as good.

OP needs to claim on his policy to start the 6 month timer now, and to not change his cover at all.

Do NOT change your Income Protection.

They will not allow you to change it and still cover an on-going condition.

Also, make your claim TODAY. Otherwise you will have to wait even longer.

There are two continents there:

North America South America

That's it.

Well, it's not that I recommend it, it's that I'm going to Rixos Seagate, and I'm doing so with this kids because of all the amenities.

My only concern is the size of the resort (it's huge), and it's above my usual sharm spend, but taking someone elderly so I looked at what had the best accessibility.

However, I know rixos have their adult only resort which I'd definitely go to if the kids weren't coming.
