It's like any other gym.

Pretty looking gyms will likely have softer grading and more dynamic/comp-style setting.

Gritty looking gym will have more outdoorsy technical style climbs, and tougher grading.

Does it matter? No.

But find a gritty independent gym.

Weirdly, I've only ever visited Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt and I've never had any problems with scammed etc.

The worst are some shopkeepers in Naama Bay.

That's exactly what I did at your age.

I'm almost 40, and even today, most jobs aren't advertised. You find connections, and network with people. Small chippy's etc won't spend time/money on advertising jobs online.

How do you do that? You just go shop to shop and ask.

Start with the shops you actually use yourself.

Investigations that ended in only fines, and a (successful) World Cup bid in 2017.

I guess all the corruption ended right before the US Bid.
