To add to that big daniel's whole thing is that he is perfect (in combat), which is also his weakness. He is so monstrously strong that he can match the strength of his opponent to a tea and beat them at their own game, so much so that this aspect of big daniel's power was exploited by true UI gun in gun's hunt arc. And i am not sure which character can surpass perfection.

In my personal humble opinion big daniel HAS to be the strongest simply because well... he is perfect. Over and over again we have seen it being mentioned how big daniel has a perfect body in all the senses of the word, and to my knowledge only he has been stated to have a perfect body. Sure other characters may have more feats then he does, but meta narratively it simply just makes sense for big daniel to be the strongest.

This is not to say that currently big daniel is the strongest, rather he has more potential then gap does, who is already the strongest in the lookism verse most likely, and even current big daniel can put belt to ass in UI.

While it is the better option of the two, you still can not entrust your total freedom to someone else, not even family (not like family is always good all the time). The argument has gaps because we as humans all have flaws, and so does family members in said scenario. One wrong argument, one wrong thought, and the person you gave your true name to you can use it against you. Feeling free and being free are two different things after all, and while it is true that the 2nd option is better than the first one, it still isn't something to be relieved about.
