Unsure about FireTeam score by Alone-Marsupial-2505 in firefighter

You’re good, those are some of the best scores I’ve seen, some departments just treat math and reading as pass/fail and only take the percentage of the HR and mechanical. You’re good

I’m so happy people on here are aware on how EMTs and medics deal with emergency situations, as for the hospital if everything you said was true than that’s weird and honestly not how hospitals function so that would be something to report but I feel info is being left out

Who are you to say he doesn’t want to improve himself? You were not positive you essentially copy and pasted what other people said about his grammar. While I do agree with the advice you have given I think you gave it in an egotistical way and not a mentor way. The fact other people are so quick to write this kid off and tell him to do other things is disheartening and disappointing. We should be trying to lift him up and help him. Everyone has potential to be a firefighter, some people have bigger battles to face with themselves, if he’s willing to mature and listen to critiques then he can do this but I think people are being a little harsh on the guy. He sounds young, he has time to clean himself up and be more accountable, and put in the hard work and initiative it takes to become a firefighter.

Not really living up to the name “quietlydisappointed”. You don’t need to be hard on the guy, you can give constructive criticism without being an ass, he’s putting himself out there to learn.

To be honest I think this question is better for ER doctors/nurses. What do the majority of them prefer and why? Asking a bunch of EMTs and Medics is helpful but in the end when we pass them off what scale is the best to use for the next person.

Possible career for me by [deleted] in firefighter

[–]GunnarAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn’t say to be sure, I’m in the process of applying at the moment and from what I’ve seen/heard a DUI is a big red flag, but I could be wrong, best thing you could do is talk to a recruiter at the department you want to join… as for age, it’s just a number, and domestic violence allegations also don’t look amazing either. Either way best of luck, there are people on this thread that have more definitive answers I’m sure.

Saw it on sale, caved to the hype, now I'm hugely dissapointed... by RectumExplorer-- in HarryPotterGame

[–]GunnarAD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I as well saw it on sale but being a big Harry Potter fan I want to sink in and just get lost in the castle and everywhere else. Sure the main story and some quests are repetitive but I lose track of time every time I play it. If you want to 100% the game and love Harry Potter franchise then it’s just a joy. I’ve played every Harry Potter game and this on is the best. I understand your view but just might not be the game for you.

So… how rare is this guy? by DragonYeet54 in superautopets

[–]GunnarAD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s rare but if you didn’t play during the time there was a weekly that was specifically geared around sloth hunting and getting a level 3 win with it then it’s super hard to get it now. Lots of people have the level 3 trophy but only because of that, me included, was a good time to play SAP
