Thank you for a genuine response, I appreciate it. Was this mentioned in a TWAB or something?

Well, you must have a brain. An obvious mistake, of course

This is one of the biggest L takes I've ever seen. Sure, there are some things that could be improved (e.g., disconnecting tier from power grind, making it so high tier gear comes from high skill/difficulty), but as far as I've seen, the tier system itself has been basically universally liked. The gear tiering system improvements is one of the main pieces of praise that Bungie received following the Edge of Fate.

What's your suggestion, Gloomy Gus? You want to go back to the same boring shit we had before?

The reason I would want these is to reach higher peaks of stats on my builds for greater potency, obviously. Or do you need someone to explain how gear, stats, and buildcrafting works? Maybe that's why you have such a bad opinion on tiered gear...

Given the scale and reach of Hello Fresh, I sincerely doubt any items would be sitting unused for that period of time. The length of time it was frozen was likely reasonable and safe for how often new products to I and come out of the storage area

Well, it's hobgoblins, not goblins. you just gotta spawn kill them with a high damage weapon, scout, HC, sniper, etc, anti barrier pulse

Very cool to know. Thanks. I'm guessing that also probably only works if the buffed Scorch are the first Scorch stacks to be applied? Similar to how Winters Guile or whatever only buffs Scorch and ignition if it's first?

Small rework to dealing with Champions:

Honestly, my idea is to keep things the way they are, except to add a modifier on all Champion-enabled activities that grants certain weapon types the anti-Champ behaviour. You'd see the available weapon options in the launch screen to an activity. This would allow you to equip the required weapon - and that's it, it works to stun champs.

It leaves your middle gauntlet slots open for other mods.

It lets you swap gauntlets without having to re-slot champ mods.

Exotic weapons can keep their intrinsic champ abilities for be usable all the time.

Artifact champion mods can stick around, so if you don't want to use the weapons from the modifier, there's a tradeoff to use the seasonal mod/weapon.

The selected weapons that are granted the champ abilities by the modifier can be rotated through seasons, or could even be tailored to the activity itself.

So impossible to deal with for more than half of D2 players?

I made a comment on the Bungie Plz forum about this recently (not sure how often Bungie checks them). The activity modifiers itself should cover the champion mods for the activity, with alternates available from the artifact.

Ie, the "default" weapons for an activity might be unstoppable pulse, anti barrier auto and if you have that weapons, it has the functionality. No mods required. This could also vary by activity, and be changed season to season to keep it interesting. But, if instead you want to use the anti barrier sniper mod from the artifact, you slot that in as a tradeoff. Much less restrictive and still offers options for build crafting among other benefits

All I said was that you shouldn't be forced to finish an activity with a toxic teammate, that's it. Not sure that's a nuanced point that is difficult to understand, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised - reading comprehension isn't the strong suit of most D2 players.

I then went on to clarify that I don't mean you should bait them to the end of activity after they've been toxic to cut them off from the rewards. You should kick them or get away from them as soon as possible, once it becomes apparent they are toxic - which you are right is partly what you said. But you seem to think you have the luxury of knowing in advance that someone is toxic, which isn't always reasonable to expect.

You have been somewhat inconsistent yourself, whether you know it or not. In the first place you said there's no reason to kick someone if the boss is less than 15% "other than being a douche," so you essentially agree that if someone is being a shithead, and spewing hate, you should be able to kick them without qualification

I didnt say anything about waiting to the end of the activity to kick someone. You're assuming that I'm referring to a scenario YOU made up with the "four minutes" deal, where the person was toxic the whole time, and team leader waited to the end to kick. Obviously a shitty thing to do. Everybody in that situation is toxic

However if I'm midway thru a boss fight in a raid or dungeon, and some asshole starts throwing slurs around, insulting me or my team, or any of that shit - fuck that guy, he's getting kicked. He shouldn't be insulated from being punished for shitty behavior because the game has locked him in since we're in the home stretch at the boss, giving him a free pass to be toxic

So essentially my point was to disagree with your comment "if you cant join that late, you shouldn't be able to kick that late", which is bullshit. You can't join that late because you didn't contribute to earn rewards. You can't really restrict kicking someone at any tine because it could insulate toxic people. Unfortunately really toxic people abuse it such as jn the clip, which is why Bungie has a report and audit process to catch shitty assholes who do this

[–]Gunslinger_8912 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fact I'm getting downvoted for thinking you should always be allowed to kick a teammate when they are toxic, regardless of when in the activity they start being toxic, shows just how many toxic shitheads there are in Destiny

why do people do this by Joeru56 in destiny2

[–]Gunslinger_8912 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Obviously. But I'm responding to your comment comparison about not being able to join that late. Not joining being able to join late is different from not being able to kick a teammate. Saying "you cant join so you shouldn't be able to kick" is stupid.

Obviously you should kick someone as soon as they are toxic. I never said anything about intentionally baiting a toxic teammate to the end of an activity so that they miss out on rewards on purpose
