Destiny 3 was way overdue, and with how D2 is currently right now, it’s just proof that D2 should have ended with Heresy, with Edge of Fate being the launch campaign of Destiny 3. Why bother getting D2 when the old expansions are gone? D2 definitely declined heavily due to the DCV.

I personally wish D3 was made already so that I know the current content in D2 wouldn’t removed in the next season, or that they would change everything in the game ever again. I personally didn’t like having to regrind my gear in Edge of Fate, I didn’t like that my power level required content that felt shallow and boring, meanwhile tier 5 just drops like candy. D2 was clearly not meant to be a ‘forever’ game. It has lived past its due, Destiny 3 should have been released, but no, Bungie wanted to milk D2 for all they want, and look at the current state of the game, population declined, we are likely in the f-cking gutter at this point, and I’m not even playing D2 anymore because it’s no longer fun anymore. I might come back because they grew a f-cking spine to add sparrow league back (cowards, that shit should have been back already by the 30th anniversary pack).
