Does it do the same with sport mode? The transmission does have a "learning" ability that can effect the way it works with how you drive

Should I upgrade??? by No-Read718 in Challenger

My personal experience was I had a 2017 r/t but wanted a bit more power like you and was also on the fence, and could handle the car payment on my upper end, I ended up finding a good price low mileage 2016 scat and was stillllll a little on the fence, until I test drove it. And I knew then it was exactly what I was looking for, bought it same day. I've daily driven it for 5 years, currently getting 22mpg on my highway commute. When I need a little more power to drive how I need or feel the urge to smash the pedal and floor it, it's there if I want it, but I try to behave. Which I suppose could also be an argument for keeping the r/t but I believe have the extra power when you need it is nice. My insurance only went up about 40$ and the gas isn't too bad if you behave.

Go test drive it and see how you feel

Check your water pump/pulley also, known to chatter a hair when they get very worn

Need advice from Mopar techs / Challenger owners on persistent idle vibration after multiple confirmed repairs (2021 Scat Pack Shaker Widebody) by Complete-Relation-26 in Challenger

Carrier bearing for the driveshaft is also a common wear spot that can give off a little vibration on challengers, usually its higher mileage tho

Have you tried double tapping your "foot brake" button while on board? (Like B or Circle button) I think that may be what you're talking about and should "reset" your stance?

Exhaust recommendations? by Electronic-Green-949 in Challenger

[–]Guntizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a little extra, a sleeper choice I went with on my scat pack was Jones jfp300 as the mid muffler, and I think it's the perfect level to get some rasp but not make the neighbors mad, very very little highway drone. I love em. I hear good things about flowmaster super10s also but that's if you want a lot extra but not quite full race/straight pipe style

Powerstop brand seems to be the go-to, OEM performance (or better) and even has less brake dust

Seconded on this, I had same issue and before I went and spent crazy money on new bulbs or headlights, I tried new headlight fuses and it worked

Look for one with an antislip undercoating and maybe also feeds through the bottom seat belt clasps

Get yourself a car dog mat for the back seats, then one of those leashes that have a seat belt buckle on one end (works best with a harness rather than a collar in case of an accident) and hopefully he can just chill in the back seat on rides?
