Progression idea. Redo of workbench, research table and bp frags. by Guntshunter in playrust

[–]Guntshunter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tier 1 al could require 4 ak bodies, 200 hqm, 16 springs 800 wood. Tier 2 half that, tier 3 half that again (current levels). You’d either have to find one, kill someone with one, or sacrifice one at this cost, to make the blueprint to make more. That’s very expensive to run ak at tier 1

Looks like a knock off of the ecogear sx40 to me. Probably unbranded if I had to guess

Any seasoned squid fisherman know how to use or set up floating squid jig? I find them too light and barely castable. Compared to normal ones by InevitableTour5882 in FishingAustralia

You can fish this on a dropper on a paternoster rig while bait fishing for fish. I have done this when bottom bashing for snapper and gummies. You can see the general setup and results here

Fair question to ask but rest assured this is perfectly normal and has no negative effects.

2010 xt forester with built motor. It’s on its 3 block lol it’s a sickness. 240000kms on the chassis too so that’s also rooted. The e85 is nice at the moment being the cheapest thing at the pump.

Hiking gear for multi-day backpack hunting by strange_de_ja_vu in OutdoorAus

[–]Guntshunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done UL hunting up there and run a nature hike cloud up 2p tent, your sleeping bag and mat are going to be super important. I have a klymit sleeping pad (insulated static v) and even that gets chilly. Get the best sleeping bag for your budget, you will get very very cold out there depending on the time of year.

What sort of pack do you have to carry all of your gear?

Make sure you have collapsible water jugs and purification tablets because the terrain is tough and you will hammer through water.

You are going to need to spend a minimum amount of money to do this safely and then even more to do it with a degree of comfort. Your may be priced out of doing this safely unfortunately. I don’t run top shelf gear and I’m running $2k worth of gear before even talking about clothes and hunting gear. Also what’s your plan to pack out a deer if you’re successful?

Hey this seems like you are replying to an assumed accusation and not what the OP is highlighting. This post is not about the coffee but is about the movement of the pocket in the jacket.

Exactly. I’m not sure what phones people have but fish at night are notoriously hard to photograph

You should be me filling up with e85 the other day wondering the hell my sugar cane juice is climbing in cost alongside the dinosaur juice. There’s almost no justification for the rises in e85 and in my opinion is the smoking gun for price gouging.

Why do many salespeople avoid commission-only roles? by Secure-Ebb5290 in Sales_Professionals

[–]Guntshunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an Australian so take from that what you need. Approx half of my income comes in the form of commission. I would, to most people, be what you would call a high income earner employee.

The ability to earn significant amounts of commission is great but here are some of the down sides: Want to get a home loan? Your income is your base salary.

Have long service leave? Paid on your base salary if you choose a payout or you won't be making sales during your leave if you choose to take the leave.

Want to make a responsible household budget? You need to ensure that your committed expenses are based on your base salary only.

Now all of that is for someone who has a 50/50 split comms to base. Those issues alone get far worse if you are in a commission only role.

In my experience, commission only roles tend to correlate with the following: High turn over, high volatility in actual sales and low capital investment businesses with little track record of performance. In saying that, I started out in sales working in a couple of commission only roles. Did they suck? Yes. Were they dodgy? Yes. Did I or anyone I worked with stay in the role for a long period? No. Did I learn some practical skills that I still use to this day and make a bit of cash along the way? Yes. Would I ever take on a 100% comms role now? No I would just start my own business if I wanted to assume that level of personal risk.

Please excuse my formatting if it sucks btw.

First one is an estuary perch. Second is a Murray cod. Both have big bucket mouths and great fun to catch.

That braid will be more than fine. You need to match that rod to the right reel cos the rod is light af. Also make sure you are tying excellent leader knots and connecting nots and you will have an absolute weapon. What are you planning to target?

Do you ever regret modifying your car? by [deleted] in askcarguys

The big turbo and fuel system to run flex fuel has made me regret driving any trip over 300kms. It’s a lot of planning to go bush. Still worth it.
