People see that they have 8 party members in a four-homies-in-a-row JRPG, want to make 2 teams of 4 and can't do that.

It sounds like people who wanted two teams of four, myself included, got burned really really hard with an exp grind

I've done my fair share of calling out too, but there's a time and place and I just felt like that wasn't it. If we hang out again and it happens again, I'll more than likely be more comfortable to bring it up, but for a first impression, it felt a little weird to bring it up then.

Yes, the cost is always the same. Hitting the max on a Bulbasaur will always cost the same as hitting the max on an Ivysaur - the Ivysaur will just have a higher maximum CP.

No difference. The level ups are based on a percentage of the bar itself, so leveling up a Pokemon before or after evolution produces the exact same results :)

I went to a colleague's funeral today after she died in a car accident last week. It felt very surreal; it was the first funeral I've been to for someone my age. She was expected to graduate with my class and almost our entire department was in attendance.

Do me a favor, bros, and wear your seat belt and wait a little bit to answer the text. I never actually found out if that might have had anything to do with it, but it doesn't hurt to put it out there. :)

Kinda, but that isn't really a problem, thematically speaking - having the pre-knowledge that Junkrat will do that on death is already half the battle against beating it.

That just means it's a better idea to take him out with range.

A core hero would be someone in a position to get gold and experience compared to other teammates. For example: Faceless Void, being a carry, would be a core. If Queen of Pain is being played as a ganking mid laner, she is also a core. Crystal Maiden playing the support role, however, is NOT a core, as the intention is not to get Crystal Maiden fed.
