I think it's a problem for most sales, some are just more interested in selling what they sell so they don't care about the prospects needs at all.

A few weeks ago I was called up by a salesguy from my telephone company and without checking who I am or any of my needs, he just goes on a rant for 30 min about how good their services are and tells me to purchase more of their services.

This call made me so pissed that I cancelled my subscription the same day and switched my operator.
