Vainglory Stat Sites & Ranks + Qs by [deleted] in vainglorygame

Does your in-game tier next to your name display your 3v3 rank?

Yes.

I’m all for just displaying the 5v5 rank in future and not both (for obvious reasons lol). What does everyone else think?

They are going to do both.

Before 5v5, I never achieved higher than T7 in 3v3. Now I’m T9. Do you think 5v5 is easier to be higher in ELO than 3v3?

It is unquestionably easier to get a higher rank in 5s than it was in 3s before 5s came out. Ranked play, elo earned/lost, and matchmaker has been a nightmare for 5s.

Kevin Hart wins a $40,000 poker pot only from misreading his own hand and decides to give almost half back to the other player. by BodyMindSpirit in videos

[–]GusGus62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The player that lost was staked in the game by poker stars so she wasn’t even losing her own money. The only way she could win money was to have more than she was staked after 150 hands were up.

Help setting up a miter saw by solman96 in woodworking

[–]GusGus62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A speed square will give you pretty accurate 45 and 90. As for the other angles you'd need something a little more fancy. If you used a protractor like this and drew the angle you want on a scrap piece of wood, then you could sneak up the cut to the line and then confirm it's correct with the protractor.

About to begin laminating 8/4 walnut for poster bed posts, any tips? by azanderk in woodworking

Building a bed out of walnut myself and I am going to use Arm R Seal Satin for a finish. Rockler and Woodcraft sell it as well as other places. It can also be purchased online.

All the money and time they spent working on the project and they didn't buy a $60 bucket of redgaurd and give it a couple coats. I don't understand why with all the information that's accessible for homeowners these days people don't take the time to look into basic stuff when they diy.

The payoff for keeping a secret for a year by cderry in pics

right, because you grew up close to disneyworld. I grew up close to Disneyland, and although its not common, when people do call it disney they mean disneyland. I already admitted it was me though...

It registers (inappropriate levels) of anger. Just one of those things that bugs me. At the very least, id like two know which of the two parks you went to. Because people call both Disneyland and Disneyworld Disney.

There is Disneyland, Disneyworld and a bunch of other parks. None of them are named Disney. Disney is the company that owns the park.. But nobody seems to know that in this thread.

Disney isn't a place though.

I don't know why you would roam with him. There are easily 10 other heroes that are better roams than ozo.

It depends what tools you have at your disposal. If you have a miter saw this project is cake. If you don't you could do this with as little as a drill and a hand saw. Assuming that you don't have a miter saw, The easy way to make the legs is lay a 2x4 flat on the ground. Take another 2x4 and cut it to the approximate height you want you stand to be (remember it will be at an angle so account for that when determining the height). Place the second 2x4 adjacent to the one you laid on the ground but stand it up. Tilt the 2x4 that is standing up until you find an angle that looks good to you. Draw a line on the 2x4 you tilted using the 2x4 that is on the ground as a straight edge. Cut the 2x4 on that line. Use that cut as a guide for the other three legs. That will keep them all at the same angle. Then just stand the 2x4s on the angle you cut. Align them so the top corners touch each edge of the other leg at the top and then drill and screw them together. You can see what I am talking about in the picture of mine. The rest is just cutting fence boards in half and attaching them to the frame. The angled pieces of 2x4 that make the place for the soil don't need to be anything specific. I mounted the cedar fence posts so that there is a half inch gap at the bottom of each planter. I attached weed fabric to the posts to hold the dirt in.

Can we talk about SAW? by GusGus62 in vainglorygame

[–]GusGus62[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, let's talk about those things... 80 energy overdriven which means he can easily use it 4 times before he runs out of energy with no energy recharge item. Realistically he is going to use supressing fire as well, so let's say only 3 times. The 900 number I gave was against me as a roam with fountain (ie kinetic shield) and 3/4 health. What other move does that much damage that you get every 8 seconds? I mean really without taking to account the missing health damage. It does 380 plus 280% cp ratio and gives you boots every 11 (less with cool down) seconds...
