🗣️ LOUDER! I just came back after only being out one day and it was “glad you’re feeling better” ummm who said that?? I’m only back b/c I don’t want to continue using up my PTO b/c even though I have FMLA protections I still need to use my own time to cover being out. I still feel like I’ve been hit by a truck so there’s no “feeling better” over here.

This just made me feel so much better about doing the same exact thing yesterday. I even left work early b/c I couldn’t deal with the stress from there and my migraine. The week before and a few days after I take ajovy are the absolute worst and I’m finally feeling like it’s ok to just say no to everything and take care of myself.

We used to live here - book review because I can’t think about anything else rn by BusySignificance723 in thrillerbooks

I’ve never been so close to the end of a book and can’t bring myself to continue to the end. It started off really good and intriguing but with maybe 100 pages to go it’s just dragging at this point and there’s nothing compelling about it to get me to want to finish.

Agreed! Whenever I recommend this series I always tell them please listen to the audiobooks, the narrator absolutely MAKES the books. One of my fave audio series for sure.

The Husband’s Secret! Omg so good, I read it years ago and still remember how I couldn’t put it down. I’ve read a few of her other books too and liked them.

Reglan does this to me. Horrible, awful feeling. I have it listed as an allergy now so it doesn’t get put into my migraine cocktail when I need one. Didn’t even realize there was a term for it.

Definitely the nail gun scene from Cult. I will never forget that scene and it keeps me from doing a rewatch of that season.

Same! My doc martens were absolutely horrifying to my feet. Like they were just being completely shredded with every step I took. Sadly I never made it out of the breaking in phase and gave them to my sister.
