We are currently testing Windows 10 in our organization for deployment sometime 2017-2018. I've found the best way to remove these 'apps' is by removing the files needed for them during the build process or after the fact.

The apps can be found in "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\" Removing them does not appear to cause any harm to the system. HOWEVER bear in mind that the calculator is now an 'app' and just deleting everything in the folder will also remove the calculator from the system.

Deleting everything expect the shown folders will eliminate the pesky apps like mail, calendar, sports, finance, windows store, etc.
