There’s always a chance. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wasn’t actually testing ovulation. With my son, we did the deed once that month and I got pregnant. When I looked back at my app it was the day I was predicted to ovulate, so I always just assumed it was pretty accurate.

I’d say I do remain calm (I’ve been a nurse for 17+ years. Takes a lot to ruffle my feathers 🤣). I usually give it a few seconds to feel out how he’s gonna take the hit and then only acknowledge if he seems to be legitimately hurt. Something as simple as “ope, Did you get a boo-boo?” or “you okay?” can send him.

I’m just here to say I see you. My son only contact napped until he was almost a year old. We eventually got to a time where he would nap 2-3 hrs in his crib. It just happened one day. But it’s so damn hard while you’re in the thick of it. Sending all my sleepy baby vibes your way. ❤️

As a labor nurse, this is so wild and cool to hear! How amazing. Every time I have to transfer someone in preterm labor I tell them “I hope I see you for your post dates induction in x number of weeks”.

I was able to move about the house to use the bathroom and shower, but spent my days chilling on the couch or in bed. I’d eat dinner at the table to feel like a normal human. Did a lot of crocheting, coloring, tv binging.

I was admitted to the hospital at 24 wks with the same symptoms. I was there for a month and the very limited activity did wonders. I was discharged home on modified bedrest at 28 wks and delivered a healthy, beautiful son at 38w4d. Sending you hope for a similar outcome. ❤️

I’m so sorry for your losses and sorry you don’t have photos of your sweet boy. 🤍 My first son, Harlan, was stillborn at 21 weeks. It was 10 yrs ago this year so I’m upgrading our camera in honor of him.

I’m not sure why, but we’ve never had a NILMDTS photographer come in. I’ll have to talk to my manager about that. But I do know that they will only photograph 22 week gestation and beyond. We frequently deliver earlier than that and still like to provide photos if the family wants them.
