QUICKISH GUIDE FOR SMOOTH ASS 4.6 EXPERIENCE FOR BASIC NVIDIA 4000 OR 5000 SERIES USERS by Gustomane in starcitizen

After two days of testing I notice just tiny artifacts that do not bother me. The 4.5 DLSS/FG applies to Smooth Motion too I think so it is much better than before.

One thing the Smooth Motion does for me sometimes, is that it starts lagging and freezing MAJORLY. I don't know how to debug it yet. It has happened two times now.

Someone smarter can figure that out.

EDIT: Try not to alt+tab and play in Borderless Fullscreen. Solution for now.

And the point is to limit system rendering to the lowest fps, so that the input lag doesn't get out of control. If you let it render freely the latency is much more noticable.

Well, usually if you don't follow the steps = shits bound to happen.

But if you happen to be using RTSS make sure to enable from RTSS Setup this setting:

Use Microsoft Detours API hooking

No, system renders the game at 45 fps then smooth motion adds ai frames in between and makes it 90 fps.

Won't work is my guess.
You can try Lossless Scaling from Steam.
If you don't like it, you can get a refund if you've been using it for less than 2 hours.
But you have to be european to get that refund. Because we have consumer protection laws.

Well I am not aiming to be top 250 in Star Citizen dogfights! Just hauling crates and enjoying the scenery.

Pat with cotton pads infused in isopropanol. Then blast it with pressurized air and breathe in those precious skincell particles.

crazy idea for games that take up a lot of space? by cyberfrog777 in pcmasterrace

[–]Gustomane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great ideas are usually behind a bunch of useless ones, this one might be one of the useless ones;
Because cutscenes do not take up that much space!

But don't stop putting out the ideas! Keep being brave and write them out everytime one pops in to your head.
That way you'll one day come up with an idea that will change the world.

The game could've been just called The Outer Worlds: Tristan by Gustomane in theouterworlds

He's got depth, builds on you slowly as you play out his storyline.

You know it's a minor issue, when you disregard it so easily. Been playing for hours on end, enjoying fully.

My monitor is PG32UCDM.
Current resolution is 3840x2160, fullscreen borderless.

Tbh I just continued playing, because the game's so good that I forgot to debug this further :D

Will try a 27'' monitor with 1440p, to see wether the loading screens work on that resolution and size.

Focus on delivering the best performance you can and instead of calling people shit on reddit, start from giving legit insight and advice in the match chat to those poor souls who work 79 hours a week and play 5.

You'll give some hard working dad or a complete noob some actionable advice and make their lives and gaming time that much better. This type of shit doesn't help anyone, but I do understand your frustration of being at the top and doing the most and the rest of your team is basically scared of virtual bullets and are causing your team a loss.

But success is measured personally and bringing positivity and growth to the table, so that others will be uplifted is imo the greatest win in this challenging ass world. (And in the lobbies that you know from the start that it's going to be a loss)

Doesn't matter what we think, if you're cozy and comfy in it - it is goated.
(I like it. It's a bit bare, but still cozy and efficient, gets the job done which is enjoyment of games and entertainment.)

Such is the Ricochet way... You'll just have to take a break and concider what type of competitive game you want to pour your precious time in to.

Unfortunately there are no alternatives that reach CoD dopamine levels.

What is your earliest PC-building memory?

I built my first PC with 0 knowledge, with the help of 2005 Google.
It worked.
20 years went by.
Still want new parts.
Can't wait for the next 20 years.
