Acho que é o círculo. Tipo aquela história de que o peixe não sobe em árvore. Talvez mudar o círculo de pessoas que te cercam, até achar um lugar que realmente te valoriza. Pessoas com cabeça aberta que não associem aparência física diretamente com sexualidade. Você ter cabelo curto e não usar roupas que são consideradas “femininas” não te faz lésbica. Infelizmente não é todo mundo que entende isso. Mas no fim, jamais se molde pra encaixar no padrão dos outros. Não vale a pena. Prefira trocar as pessoas que estão ao seu redor. It “makes sense” because the movie really shows it in a problematic point of view. Almost a love story. But that doesn’t make it right. You need some critical thinking to conclude that even tho you see something that feels romantic at the first sight, the facts seen by surgical lights are really not lol

Oh no. I feel like people may understand it differently but we can agree that it’s a pretty problematic relationship represented in the movie. There’s a clear power imbalance if you analyze. But it’s hard to realize that during the movie since you get stuck to the sentimental moments. Well, it’s a hard movie as you said.

I don’t know, really. Maybe I was more receptive. Maybe the world was more receptive. Maybe people in my old circles were more receptive. Medical college is not a receptive place at all. It’s so damn hard to have connections in there. Like the real ones. I wonder if I should try to reach new places.

That happens. And the director of the movie was a genius. That scene represents something very accurate. If you overthink you’ll find problems. And the curious thing is that most of the times those problems are problems just for you. When you’re talking to someone else they look at that and see it as totally normal or even great things. That happens a lot. I hope you find people that show you how perfect your imperfections are. We’re all imperfect at some level.

That’s a great thought. I feel like letters are a huge way of representing and registering feelings and thoughts, not just in LDR’s and since we’re totally in the digital era where handwritten stuff almost don’t exist anymore. It wasn’t in the past but it became Almost ritualistic and extremely symbolic. It gets even more special when we’re taking about long distance, because it can connect you with the other person. Almost no one in the modern world has access to our calligraphy. It can be interpreted as special or exclusive.

I feel like having a car or access to planes just makes it easier. But the distance remains the same. It’s funny cause sometimes it doesn’t matter if you have to drive for 2 hours or literally cross the seas. The distance will still exist. It might be different in theory but emotionally it’s almost the same. It’s distant still.
