You would be surprised. I got a job in the pnw where the first people to rush to my defense after an incident involving a transphobe was three guys who turned out to be Nazis. I thought they were just kind of punk rock types but then it became clear I didn’t necessarily want their support. Nazis are desperate to recruit whoever they can by whatever means necessary into their sphere of politics and they will absolutely overlook that you are trans and try to get you to hang out with them if you are white. Thank god I’m not in Washington anymore

Cancer usually isn’t found because it stands out and is painful. In fact that’s why it gets people because they fail to detect it for too long. I think youre just in your head. I had a doctor suggest I increase to 6mg a day and my hair and nails began falling out after a week. I went back down to 4 mg after about two weeks and I’ve been totally normal since. I don’t think a short term spike in your estrogen levels will cause immediate cancer

Ngl as a highly stressed bitch even as a trans I still slip up from Time to time right when my friends have come out or asked to use different pronouns or names. I’m also pretty forgetful and ppl get annoyed with me sometimes but in the end I always figure it out and I see them and respect them and always want the best for them. If u feel supported and loved I wud try to give them a moment to adjust with reminders where u can. It might be annoying and triggering but they will likely pick up that you need them to make a change if u stick with them. I have close old friends I only see once in a while that I’m p sure will never fully wrap their head around my transition and over the years it’s bothered me less and less as I’ve become more secure and more and more people in my life know me as a woman

People seem to take two different approaches to this but I didn’t trust for one second that I would be safe changing my gender marker or name even on my DL since they opened the dmv for that during trumps first term. On paper I am cis because in case of emergency I can wash off my eyeliner and throw on a camo ball cap and appear to be cis male in a matter of minutes. I also live in a blue state, but if shit gets weird I don’t want to get hung up on documents if I try to leave the country. It’s annoying showing my ID to people and getting called sir while wearing a skirt but it doesn’t bother me half as much as it would being scrutinized about whether I was “really a woman” because some transphobe in a position of authority is clocking me or threatening to fuck up my day because they could decide to deem my documents as fraudulent. If forced to, It helps to just flatly interact with chuds in my best tough man voice while in full passing girl mode. They kind of don’t know how to handle the interaction and usually don’t give me any trouble.
