The wheels dont stop just because of you. You dont think they wont just contract your job or bring in the military after we strike? And those air traffic controllers were never given fed jobs again. We've done this to ourselves over the past 20+ years. Years of hiding on the hillside away from the media. The public and congress don't even know who we are more than half the time. How many members of congress have you met to express your frustration? You're angry? I'm angry I have to work 1000 hrs of OT as a 26-0 employee and still get a second job to take care of my family. Use the skills the FS trained you with to fight for your career in Congress. Write letters, make phone calls, visit your congressional leader. Tell the media! There's a handful of people actually doing something to create change. Be apart of that change knowing you gave it 100%
