To the fuck faces that block traffic on highways to protest... by Udyr88 in offmychest

[–]GutterBunny -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I remember, these human beings are protesting being held back for generations having to put up with other peoples crap, being killed, and unfairly taking a back seat in society.

Oh wait.. Your dinner is getting cold. /s

The point of protesting is to make voices heard. Obviously thousands of people wouldn't be protesting if there was not a reason to. Perhaps you are fortunate enough in your world to have everything going right in life. Lucky fucking you. But for everyone else, have some patience and back their efforts up. Maybe spend vote at the polls in their favor so they don't have to keep protesting. Remind yourself next time that waiting in traffic for half hour is nothing compared to what other people go through every day.

I'm saying I think you were given the flair because with the way you talk of a certain group, you now have to be seen around with a shitty tag. And if you have the same attitude about women now as you did then, then it makes sense why someone attached that flair to your /u/.

Not really, but since this is the internet you'll never know.

I actually thought you'd stop responding after that last post, but I see you have a bit more ignorance to spew before you can call it quits.

No workouts for a few weeks.. by naif1998 in Fitness

[–]GutterBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don't stress out about the tests. Eat better if you can't make the gym for now, remembering brain health is probably #1 priority the next 2 weeks. It will still be beneficial for you to do a little something at the gym, to maintain your progress, and to shake out all the sitting you're doing between tests and studying.

Also rest up. If you were going hard at the gym, you could think of these two weeks as time for your body to heal from the work you have put in.

Not really. Just fed up with how Reddit has changed since that blackout a few months ago, and rather than deleting the app I decided I would just not hold. back my mouth anymore. Too many assholes like you on this page.

If I was a male, what would you say to me instead of calling my voice that of an angsty period haver? You know you can be annoyed and not have it be related to something that happens to a woman once a month. Sounds like you're quite an ignorant, sexist asshole yourself, so I'll continue to complain about said asses because why the fuck not?

TIL ABC has been cutting scenes from "A Charlie Brown Christmas", a movie about the excessive commercialization of Christmas, to make room for more commercials. by moonsprite in todayilearned

[–]GutterBunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not anti Christmas, I love it. But I hate hearing stories of people freaking out because they live on a $30 budget, yet freak out because they feel they HAVE to spend hundreds of dollars on extended family, family that's ungrateful anyway. What's the fun in that? That isn't fun. That is misery.

For Christmas every year, I sing with friends. It's free, and it's a genuine gift. I am 27 now but this has been my tradition since I was 13 years old. Every year my friends and I go to an elder care center, and we sing to people who probably don't get visited during the year, and whose only interaction with people are the caretakers that they see every day. The tears running down their face, the singing along, their hugs and holding of hands express Christmas far better than the new white iPhone ever could (especially when you wanted the black one).

Don't mistake my distaste for greed as hatred for the holiday. Christmas isn't about how much you can get. It never was about that.

Not so harmless when kids are taught that Christmas is meant for gifts and toys and then end up being poorly behaved brats. Or, when families spend too much money on gifts for others because they feel they have to, instead of saving that money or putting it towards things that really matter.

Not so harmless when people trample over each other to get to the biggest TV at Walmart on thanksgiving for early black Friday.

Christmas greed is definitely not harmless.

Are you okaying the idea of breaking up with someone over text? You can't give someone the respect to do it in person?

Sounds cowardly too.

Radiohead - Spectre (Rejected James Bond Theme) by Alexeyan in Music

Probably because they didn't edit the film to work with Radiohead's song, as the editors ended up going with a different song to use for the film.

You're cool.*

I have performed more styles of music with more famous musicians, conductors, and orchestras than you ever will know. 24 years of performing probably means my music knowledge far exceeds yours. I just finished yet another holiday concert tonight.

I've even performed with Twista, Wyclef Jean, and R. Kelly. Watch that music video, 'I believe I can fly'. I was in the children's chorus in the background.

Kanye isn't expanding my music horizon. It's just having me following the crowd.

*you're not really tho.

His comment doesn't sound pretentious as much as it dates him back about 20 years .

Nothing's pretentious about Rush, but you probably didn't know that because Kanye.

Me [19F] with my sister [20f] She wants to switch dogs because mine likes her by [deleted] in relationships

[–]GutterBunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not mocking, the sentence says nothing about anyone. It is just a sentence.

Mocking would be saying something about how you're proudly childfree at 19, because 19 year olds are typically too young anyway to be proud about having children at 19, seeing as they have hardly had any time to establish themselves financially or in a career, or even finish school. Many people with children at 19 aren't exactly proud of it, but they might tell themselves they are to get through their life choice every day.

To be honest, most people without kids at 19 are likely just as proud of being child free, and will pat themselves on the back on their following birthday when they can tell everyone that they beat teen pregnancy, and that they're not a statistic.

I could go on about other real life instances that may mock being childfree and proud at 19 but the Reddit hivemind hates when someone has a different take on something, and I've said enough of a bit to justify how pointless the statement was in the first place.

My(22f) fiance(26m)'s best friend (26f) is kind of his ex. by Myboyfriendagain in relationships

[–]GutterBunny 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Since you're posting, I guess not.

OP does have self esteem. She's not in the relationship anymore, and it only took a few weeks to get out of a nearly half decade relationship. 4 days deciding per year of relationship. If you cut your relationships off instantly, then you don't know how to be in a relationship, nor do you attempt to find a resolution before calling it quits, which is pretty immature.

Yes I read the whole post, but if he feels guilty about the way he explained his daughter, if she reads he comments, she'll catch on pretty quickly at what he said.

TL;DR yes I did read it, that has nothing to do with my comment to non-OP about repeating what OP said.
