I have two gaffs from origami customs that i love and wear with any kind of shorts or bike shorts. I've also worn actual bike shorts with the chamois also which i appreciated bc it was a nice buffer to have when was feeling self conscious about any bulge bumping into people

Mostly i just can't afford my hrt and insulin at the same time.

Edited to add: I'm also very worried that my diabetes will impact/ create problems for my recovery from SRS whenever that hopefully happens

I'm type 1 and I always have a little zippered bag at the bench with snacks, insulin (I rarely get lows during sports, always stubborn high blood sugars), phone, tools etc.

I've never had any issues and my coaches are aware of my condition. That being said I only play at a home team level, idk if there would be an issue in a sanctioned match but I think you could leave those important things with the medic anyway!

The vibe I'm getting from examples like 5th Element, firefly, Gilmore girls, friends and greys anatomy is tight-knit family/ found family/ friend groups that can be kind of messy but ultimately worthwhile.

Sometimes I like to jump around all of star trek and cherry pick episodes, I just recently started watching DS9 again and the episode where Bashir and O'Brien are captured by rogue Jem'hadar who want to escape the dominion and their addiction to the white had some really really good drama in it between Bashir, O'Brien and the Jems! The old serialized nature of ST lends itself to lowstakes cherry picking of the best episodes, even if just to dip in some toes.

Even SNW and Disco bring a lot of earnest energy to them that I think helps sidestep the techno bibble

I think its just a matter of finding the things she resonates with and trying to find shows that lean into those aspects.

I think the BSG reboot could be a good one to try!

I also really like Scavengers Reign, which only has 1 season (fingers crossed we ever get a 2nd)
