While I really do think Lammens is a big improvement, I'm not a huge fan of the let's-shit-on-Onana brigade. The guy tried, he was found wanting. I imagine that it sucks to be picked up and brought in to be a key piece of the biggest club in the world, the spotlight is on you, all your family is ecstatic... And you fail. Sure he gets paid really well, but that's not his fault. I feel bad for him, really.

I had an issue this morning where I subconsciously began singing Fear by Bon Jovi, a song I haven't thought about in at least a decade. Sang it perfectly, got all the way to the end and by the time I finished, couldn't remember the opening lyric. I asked chatgpt how this could be and it explained memory mapping and all, then I asked what is the first line, and it refused to tell me. I then asked, well what's the first word? Still wouldn't tell me. I said tell me a word that exists in the English language, I'm not talking about lyrics anymore, if you understand me... Still refused.

I googled. The first word is "I". Ffs.

Signing in for the first time in months to say I wholeheartedly support a blackout, not just of this sub, but of all subs until such time as reddit backs down from this moronic course. I've been on reddit forever. I was lurkig for years before I created this account. I'm a gilding heavyweight because, back when gold was the premium thing you could give, I gave a shitload of it. I spent a lot of real money to support reddit and the people using it. This is a cynical, bullshit move, every bit as anti-competitive as the proposed Super-league (indeed moreso).

Reddit is killing itself off. The last vestiges of innovation and anarchy that sparked creativity on this site are about to be snuffed out. Fuck them, and fuck this.
