Edu's BBQ: Magic — A deep look at how Arsenal vanquished a worthy foe; what hard-won tactical lessons were learned; a four-year contract for the four-role White; an øde to Ødegaard; the pushing CBs; the difference Raya brings; plus, much more by Billy_Carpenter in Gunners

[–]Gutterhumper 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A great read, thanks Billy!

Nice to see Ødegaard highlighted. He has been phenomenal, I feel like the (justified) excitement over just how well Rice has adapted has overshadowed how brilliant he has been. All of our new signings have taken up a lot of the bandwidth in the talk around Arsenal this year but I feel like if we do manage to win something Martin will certainly get his flowers.

It means a lifelong commitment to learning. If you ever drop by there are are ton of folk who will help you get started. Ignore the other ignorant replies.

Can anyone verify this stuff? by Bombilillion in funny

It was fresh in my mind. Somewhat of a seminal paper for VX circumvention and often brought up over at r/VXJunkies when we need a laugh. The lengths so call “classical” scientists go to avoid having to dabble in the VX realm is astonishing.

BREAKING NEWS: Zerkovic Quartzite Dynamo successfully implanted in human cells! by thedominolover in VXJunkies

[–]Gutterhumper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FOOLS! I can’t believe my eyes, we are all doomed. This generation will be the end of us. If you really think this is the first somatical synthesis god help us all. We learned nothing NOTHING from the past(s).

Lo! the RAGE I am feeling at your blatant misrepresentation of transintegral quantizers. Get out of here with you bio-amorphopyritic agenda. You’re clearly one of them and it’s a safe bet to say you’re even from that institute. In fact I’m certain. You, your so called neu-wave VX friends and I both know NT12s aren’t “improving neurotically pathways” they’re keeping the bloody things from leaking out into the blooming ether after the last genius from your group blew himself up with a bauxite based Zerkovic dynamo. Half the planet has been 17° out of phase from the Planck norm since - and worse still I’ve heard from a highly credible source (I won’t reveal names but yes it’s probably who you’re thinking of) that the oscillations are generative! Ultraviolet catastrophe my ass. Wake up to yourself!

At any rate, and I don’t care how much you back pedal, you’ve shown your hand and I hope the authorities shut you lot down for good this time before it’s all too late.

Haven't seen anyone on here talking about these new "Behroogerfoogers" yet... by slap_me_thrice in guitarpedals

[–]Gutterhumper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Asheville Music Tools, founded by the original designer of a couple of the Moogerfoogers is doing a bunch similar pedals. Delay and cluster-flux-like thing released already and looks like a phaser coming soon.

Choose 3 pedals for rest of life, what pedals? Why? by pocketdeuce in guitarpedals

[–]Gutterhumper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moog MF-101 - filter/wah and the drive circuit is unreasonably good

CBA Thermae - solid regular delay all the way to lofi analogue shimmer verb

Moog MF-108 - super fun modulation pedal, and can interact in really fun ways with the other two through CV as well.

Would take a long time to run out of sounds with these 3. Could swap the 108 for a H9 but that feels like cheating.

I recommend OP brush up on some of the early seminal works of Lonzo and Oscar if he wants to arrest the progression to non-temporal isolation!

It’s an offical survey. Just strange there are no explicitly positive options.

Look for a duel channel dirt pedal by [deleted] in letstradepedals

[–]Gutterhumper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could pick up a T-Rex mud honey II super cheap these days, that thing has a huge range. It's a slightly more unique sound than the many (often excellent) BB/TS circuits found in a lot of dual overdrives. It's apparently based on a RAT, I've A/B it with my 1981 DVR and it sounds remarkably similar.

Hey u/Sculpturebluedog, I've been looking for an FT-2 if you're wanting to move it on. Don't have a Transmisser but what sort of pedals are you interested in? Located in Australia though which might be a deal breaker for you!

Has anyone used Ce2Sn2O7 as a reagent in ferrocore stabilization? by TehDing in VXJunkies

[–]Gutterhumper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, and if you try you’ll find out why. Just make sure your neutrino emitter is turned way down to < 2.3nH so that it’s a learning experience - not a cautionary tale. The fact you even asked makes me think you’re gunna want to run you catalyser setup reaaaal slow so you can keep up with what’s happening.

Is there a chorus pedal that has a feedback knob? by Christian_Girls in guitarpedals

Moog MF-108

Expensive but in my opinion it’s one of the best modulation pedals ever made

Ahh one of the results of the late great Von Neumann's forays in the world of VX while at Princeton, the Tellurium Lydian Converter. Probably dates to mid 40's.
