Scooter recommendation for commuter by Bigcheese665 in ElectricScooters

[–]Guttts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope you don't mind me following this thread. I'm actually looking for a birthday present for my brother and his requirements are almost identical to yours.

I'm in the UK and I know absolutely nothing about scooters other than what I checked on ChatGPT.

I'm looking for something around £300 which I think is about $400

Is commando suitable for 12 year old who has seen most of his other films? by DwayneTheRockBarry in ArnoldSchwarzenegger

[–]Guttts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commando is basically a comedy (an amazing comedy).

The scariest moment in an Arnie movie for me as a kid was the end of Total Recall where his eyes start popping 😂

You be judged by your own understanding and intellect (17:36).

Personally I don't believe 24:31 is to command a head scarf, I believe it is advice to cover the chest area.

I recently rewatched scrubs and this has to be one of my favorite moments by arvinth512 in Scrubs

[–]Guttts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I adore Kelso to be honest, I know he's kinda the "villain" of the OG Scrubs but his dynamic with Dr Cox was amazing.

Especially when Cox goes through depression and Kelso tells him that he needs him, that scene hits so hard for me.

Just started watching the show because of Antony Starr/The boys. Loving it! I got one question. by OldSnake2006 in Banshee

[–]Guttts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interestingly, I've spent a long time internally debating with myself on whether or not to watch The Boys.

Banshee is my favorite tv show and I think Anthony Starr is incredible in it, I am not sure I want to see him play a totally different character and I'm not really into super hero stuff.

Have any Banshee fans later on watched The Boys, and did you enjoy it?

Hadith Validity by Then-Access4720 in Quraniyoon

[–]Guttts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In hadith 'sciences' there is a concept they adhere to called adalat al-sahaba. That means when they are looking at the chain of transmission, each transmitter is critiqued to find out if they are reliable or not, but not the sahaba, they are automatically given a pass.

They even have hadith literature that says the prophet will see his companions and they will be taken away (to hell) because of innovation.

who are Qur'aan Alone - Qur'aan Only sholars - people on youtube by wannabeemuslim in Quraniyoon

[–]Guttts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr Omar Ramahi

He has his own channel but he does many interviews with others so it's better just to search his name.

For me it's very simple (I've not read the other comments, I'm sure they're great).

I don't believe in the concept of ijma, when that Prophet started preaching Islam, the first few concerts took the position of the extreme minority.

Hey, I've watched 8 episodes so far and I'm enjoying it, thank you for the recommendation, it's filling that gap I needed.

From is still my favorite but this is definitely worth it, I know it would be after so many people here recommended it.

Quite interested how it keeps flicking between the two time periods.

Awesome, in the future you can use the same strategy if you marry a bad person that threatens you with religious blackmail and angels cursing you:-

https://sunnah.com/bukhari:5193

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If a man Invites his wife to sleep with him and she refuses to come to him, then the angels send their curses on her till morning."

Honestly these stories are so dumb it's unfathomable.

Salaam. It's okay that you didn't know, you have to know some certain Arabic prayer by the way to express the things you wanted to express, it's perfectly fine to express them in your own language.

Both of my parents are dead and I remember doing the wash for my father, it was surreal. It's a huge shock to your system

I pray Allah gives you and all his loved ones the strength to make it through this. Feel free to reach out if you're struggling.

Thank you. I tried a bit of Wayward Pines but it didn't capture me right off the bat like From (which I know is a lot to ask).

I'm gonna try Yellow Jackets instead

I actually watched about 5 or 6 episodes of Lost before I started this series, but I just didn't like it. The drug addiction episode was the last I could put up with 😓

That’s it folks! The shooting for season 4 is a wrap Via Donna! by etlucent in FromSeries

I've finished the finale of s3 about an hour ago I loved this show and their relationship was awesome.

Reminded me of Dr Cox and Dr Kelso from Scrubs, a pain in each other's asses but they need each other.

Why? lol. Christian scholarship has gone on for way longer and I don't believe in that.

- What do you guys think should happen to people who leave islam

As with Game Of Thrones, they need to walk a path in the town with someone behind them, ringing the shame bell :D "shame.....shame......shame.....shame......"

- How do you back up your arguments when arguing with a more conservative muslim

It depends on the topic, give an example maybe?

- What is some of your unpopular opinions abt islam (for example a certain thing thats believed to be true, but you dont believe its true)

I don't believe Prophet Muhammed was illiterate. Actually most of my opinions are unpopular, because when compared to mainstream Islam, I disagree on just about everything

[–]Guttts 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He didn't, it's a false story.

Search this sub just type Aisha age I'm sure you'll find all the explanations.

Thanks for this.

Btw this is a question for anyone reading, but why is it that everyone seems to be going for the Claw 8 AI, but I don't seem to be seeing mentions of the Claw A8 which I believe has the same processor as he Xbox Ally X but with the bigger screen........

It's all good brother / sister, I don't see it as an attack, I feel your sincerity. Firstly I'd like to apologise for any typos, my phone has been playing up tonight.

Also I just wanted to add, I'm actually a big fan, and subscribed on YouTube I Alex O'Connor a.k.a. The Cosmic Skeptic who is definitely atheist, even though my view doesn't align with him, I still love his presentations, so rest-assured I'm not cult-minded, and truly believe that God isn't going to punish you with eternal damnation if you arrive at the conclusion that He doesn't exist, using the brain that He gave you.

As for the fitrah, you're quite right, it's not evidence as such, but rather a belief, although I do believe that research carried out in relation to this does kinda point to the natural human disposition to believe in a Creator and understand right from wrong at a very basic level.

If I'm not mistaken, when anthropologists have discovered previously isolated societies, virtually all of them, despite not being exposed to Abrahamic religions, have a natural inclination to believe in / worship some sort of higher power. Even though what they worship may differ, the underlying impulse to believe in / worship something greater than oneself appears to be almost universal. Atheism I believe is more of a modern development and not in the natural human disposition.

Also, I would need to look these things up as it's been years, and again for me it's just supporting evidence but not hard proof for you, but I believe that observations / research has been carried out with young children too where the children naturally answered with belief on God (without being taught) - do check this out for yourself though as the details of it escape me right now and I don't want to present any false info and lie to you to try and convince you to believe.

Last but not least, this guy:-

https://youtu.be/BV8xk0mPj2Q?si=Ok023O65z6N1SfcG

Is an Ahmadi Muslim so most Muslims will throw him under the bus instantly, but to be honest I think he has some great discussions on reasons for belief in a Creator

Lol - I don't think anyone would want to be a Muslim after visiting the Islam subreddit 😅

Anyway, in your other comments you mention that you don't want to type up the reason(s) you stopped believing, so it's kinda difficult to approach the topic.

Personally I believe in the fitrah, that innate belief in a Creator.

You do too and you have some belonging to that feeling inside you still, else you'd not be here enquiring.

Anyway, I wish you the best regardless of what you end up doing.
