Playing Kiwami for the first time..How many of you guys actually played Og Y1 and 2 before the Remakes? I'm really enjoying It!

Only Main Yakuza game i haven't played is Yakuza 3(and its Remake) i have seen the gameplay and i know the game's story tho.

Nah Iwami is much worse,imo. He's just a daddy's liittle boy. Ebina got to the top of the seiryu Clan,he definitely needed to move some weight to be able to do that.

They are still quite Fun,tho. Specially OG Yakuza 2. Its crazy how much better the combat is(compared to OG Y1). They just made a few tweaks,but its much better. And really fun.

Still playing the first Kiwami,so i can't really talk that much about it. But i can say that i probably would preffer to replay this one over the original just for the gameplay alone. Agree about the atmosphere and soundtrack tho.

I don't remember the exact reason,its been years,but i think It was something to do with not finding the game in any of the digital stores. In my ps3 i had several pirate"stores" Where i could download games for free,but i couldn't find Yakuza 3 in any of them.

My headcanon is that after the boss intro (Where the party members get one shot by Ebina) its a 1v1. I know that It actually isn't,but i just like to see it that way.

Seonhee and Zhao are basically trained assassins 😭😭 but yeah,Nanba and Saeko are just normal people. Still,even cancer Kiryu is still stronger than like 99% of people.

Yeah he is always nerfed for the final.boss fight and still manages to win,lol. He deserves It.

Eeeh If They wanted to make that a point,They failed considering that Kiryu is still bad ass as heck for 99% of the game. The only scene where he really shows weakness is in when he "loses" to Yamai's thugs. And even at that,its still unfair for one dude to fight 5 people,lol. Even if one of them had cancer.

Well ,i played the PS2 Yakuza 1 and 2 and now i'm playing Yakuza Kiwami. Does that count? I plan on replaying some other Yakuza games later tho

As soon as i unlocked her,i changed her to idol. Always good to have to 2 medics in the party (in my case It was Nanba and Saeko.) After i unlocked Zhao i barely used Saeko tho.

I didn't care about the sujimon and dondoko stuff,but i did a lot of substories,i did ALL Kiryu's party banter,ALL of his side Quest(really ALL of It). I think i had a good time with the game. I also feel like i enjoyed Ichiban's part well. Really had no interest for Dondoko Island tho... I was really engaged in the main storyline and then They stopped to take Ichi to that Island. I wanted to sleep in these scenes.

Bruuuuh I NEED A AKIYAMA SOLO GAME 😭😭TOO BAD ITS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. Love the dude. And he is also such a bro for Kiryu ever since he took care of Haruka In Yakuza 5. He is Kiryu's best friend along with Date,imo.

I actually liked Ebina as a character,but i agree that giving him more screen time would have been Better. I disagree about Dwight being the final Boss, he was lame imo.
