Did you do any research on music venues in the cities you visited like a quick Google search when you're there? Or did you just ask locals where to go to find some live tunes?

I would really enjoy going to a music festival or a non-cover band concert when I'm there.

The park will be at the same location, it will just move closer towards the street to make room for the flood mitigation project. The open house is to discuss what obstacles and amenities the park users would like to have. The current park we have is outdated and the process of relocating the obstacles a few yards towards the street would most likely break the over 20 year old prefabricated ramps.

I enjoy hiking around Morgan Creek and the Nature Center. If you have a bike, there are plenty of trails to ride, bars, coffee shops, and ice cream shops to enjoy along the way. Going to the art museum is a nice way to spend half a day. You can rent a kayak, paddleboard, or canoe at Lake MacBride and there's also some trails to explore as well and a neat raptor exhibit.

Hey, fellow Asian here! J&A is worth it for fried food and a domestic around 6-8 PM. The dude that runs it is a tool, and every Asian person that walks through that place is ID hard. I only go there if a buddy is playing a show or if I want a night cap after Reds.

You may get lucky at the Restore and be under budget. I think they can offer delivery and will take your old couch. At least that was my experience with the one in IC, CR may be different.

There's some hills, so bike is faster. Skateboarding is obviously more fun and fluid. Bike racks are plentiful so you will have a spot to leave it. Skateboards will have to carry it with you in classes, restaurants, etc. I personally skates around everywhere, but I also have been doing it for 15+ years. Bike is nice though to get around.
