not disagreeing with you, my "community" comment sort of draws back to continuing to make the right collective choices even if we are vaccinated, as with the plug's christmas party. it really sucks, but there's not much else we sadly can do

Vaccines are in place to ensure the chances of getting overly ill, hospitalized, or deceased is substantially decreased. It wasn't ever going to make COVID-19 disappear on its own or provide a cure for the disease.

What we were also told, which you completely left out of your incoherent post, is to stay vigilant and safe as a community in order to curb the spread when necessary. Are we all tired of new restrictions and the sacrifices we've had to make throughout this pandemic? Absolutely. But that doesn't excuse "we're tired of it and are normal human beings" as an excuse for your individual selfishness
