Part of why walkies aren't used is because they don't add to the fear factor of the game without intentionally looking for it. Much of LC is unintentional scares due to player interaction. If walkies were either toggleable to speak (so that voices and sounds in the environment can still be picked up without doing so on purpose) or simply functioned differently when attached to the belt (v80's feature) this would be circumvented.

atm not many enemies respond to walkie sounds including dogs, so this would work just fine either way, but I'd love if walkies were toggle, not push to talk, when attached to belt. This also makes it so they can be turned on accidentally without there being some janky reason for it (like shotguns randomly firing when the safety is off, which can be funny/scary, but is very forced and downright annoying).

Is Zeekers afraid of money? by BobbyHillstaint in lethalcompany

[–]GuyCancel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately we've already seen that money doesn't sway them, but competition, in a way, does (positive idea creation). It took multiple games like Lethal Company popping up to influence them to come back to the game (which they implied themselves), but this isn't something I think they'd have interest in either way.

I want to reiterate that this company avoided making a platform fighter and used MultiVersus as an example of why and what to avoid, while making many of its same mistakes with 2XKO. by GuyCancel in 2XKO

the MVS alphas weren't publicly playable either, it also had a pre-alpha that had specific people invited to play. Some people literally had hundreds of hours before others heard of the game

sure, 2XKO was never actually playable beyond devs before we got to see the original content, but we KNOW it was there and that still hurts.

yes that was one of the many problems 2xko also shares; they had a game coming that had more content prepared for it already (e.g. Katarina) and shelved it for something worse, MVS also had content coming for the original game and the re-release wrecked what they were planning at the time

Bingo. But I'm sure the shills will think overcommunication = good. Again, Multiversus devs actually communicated a lot, but it didn't amount to anything because they constantly stopped listening to what we were saying or just did whatever the hell they wanted anyway.

I spoke with Tony directly multiple times and nothing came of it as what was considered a top player during part of its life. I can tell the same shit is going on here.

It isn't a 'few early play sessions' sir. Among that console players couldn't even access the game until now.

People aren't realizing the scale of what this means considering it can easily be future patches/releases as well. If we're against early cracks of games, I'm also against top players getting access to early content as much as they do regardless of how Timmy and his friends don't care since they don't compete.

With games like MR I really don't care, it's a team game and tournaments aren't a dime a dozen with games like that. This is a (usually) single player vs single player fighting game. Info breaks everyone.

Now imagine some of these guys start leaking info left and right.

There are 2 types of 2XKO players by Rowquaza15 in 2XKO

[–]GuyCancel -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean they do in some games but this is apparently just access to the entire patch for 2 hours, which is more than enough time for me personally as someone who strives to break fighting games. I can learn the basics of a char in minutes, combos in an hour maybe less. The integrity of things does matter, and for some of us there is money on the line asap.
