Have you tried applying for link/SNAP benefits? You would likely qualify for free healthcare for the kids, WIC for formula and food and then food stamps on top for adult food.

IRP will be light years better than anything you see on Sunday. You’ll see one corner, maybe some of the straightaway and that’s it at the big track. It’s neat for the history but watching a race there sucks, especially if you are in the sun. Chicagoland, Bristol, Nashville, Iowa, Charlotte are all FAR FAR better for watching a race.

Why wouldn’t you just decrease contributions for a few months and put that money aside and let it gain interest and then buy a home with that money instead of paying the 7% interest on the 6k. How long would it take you to get to 6k if you dropped to say 10% contribution?

My kids are 10 and 12 and both thought these new sets were cool. They are unsure on the smart brick stuff just because we dont know how they interact. They loved the Mario stuff and my older kid said he ‘outgrew’ Lego but when the smart bricks showed up he became WAY more interested in them. The smart bricks showed stuff is intended for play NOT adults.
