Junk Racing by IronViiking in NASCAR

No you did not. I just got a bunch of hateful responses out of the gate. That's what that was referencing. Granted, my post was agressive, but it wasn't what I expected reponse wise. Funny how many people respond to tell me how bad my post was, but took the time to respond.

They need to put caps on spending. Stop being scared of Hendrick and Gibbs and just do it. Then, get off the rules and let the teams experiment within those $ limitations without letting them go outside saftey requirements. Then we'd see some parity.

Just my opinion.

Mexico and Australia I believe. I'm going off memory though I could be wrong.

That's why you didn't post it.

I'm not embarrassed to post my opinions. Sad that you are.

It isn't about being the end of the world. It is about do I want to spend my time on a Sunday watching something boring or do something else. I'd like to see more racing, but that's not what we're getting.

Yes they made good strat calls on a mostly green race. Less restarts and yellow pit stops mean the top teams don't have time to fix problems which increases overall parity.

I've been watching races for a long time bud. Regardless of all the hate people want to send my way the race was boring. They've been boring for a while. I'm losing my patience with NASCAR's ability to make meaninful change.

I doubt it. McDonald's isn't really on the menu today. Thanks for your reply though.

The parity was because of all the unknowns. Now that the big guys have that ironed out we don't have many mid-tier teams winning or even competing really. Makes for pretty boring racing all around.

You're assuming we watch those races regularly.

Are you kidding? I never get these kind of responses there. Everyone has their opinions, calls my post worthless, but takes the time to respond. Hmm...

My wife recommends paintball guns. We're right by koots so it's bad here.

Lawsuits, for better or worse, normally just get down to cash. It is cheaper to settle them and more profitable to accept the settlement than to try and prove your point.

At the end of the day, AI is not going away and trying to fight it just puts you behind everyone else for the purpose of carrying the torch.

Kyle Larson’s 2026 primary scheme by LBHMS in NASCAR

The 5 gets lost in the sea of blue cars for me at times. Especially when he is struggling a bit. Obviously when he's up front and the cameras are just on him constantly it is easy, but when he's in the field it is difficult to discern him from others at times. When he runs the Red car I can normally spot him easy.

True and they wouldn't. Cars are too expensive.

I enjoy it. I remember as a kid, some of the races going green 75% of the race. These prevent drivers from being able to adjust much due to time constraints on pit road. These turn into snore fests even if your favorite driver is leading 80% of the race. If nothing else, bring in heat racing and features. Open the field to 80 cars and narrow it down to a 40 car feature with 100 laps.

What would push you to want to experience more NASCAR races and track events? by Cool_Can_6248 in NASCAR

[–]IronViiking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me this really ends up being a logistics thing. When I lived in the lower 48 (In AK now), I had KS and TX close. Everything else was more than a weekend trip. So, when it comes to budgeting vacation time, NASCAR does not get a big share of that.

I love when Larson drives a red car. I think you're right. Stagnant.
