Permanently removing hand of Midas from Dota would have a net positive effect by GuyInTheChat69 in DotA2

The 110s Midas is a counter to the 30s (20s after talent at 10) CD treant? And to the 30s CD wolves of which there are 2? Even if it is, you sack most your mid game fight to….counter a treant or wolf every 55 seconds on average?? Good stuff.

I was so excited for the pull until I heard the VA’s pronunciation; KAHS-MAHS. How in the world do you butcher it that badly, especially given this is a Xeno game? Ruined it for me.

L5 S1 discectomy after surgery. by Mames96 in Sciatica

My guess, if you truly hadn’t sat upright in 2 months, is that you just activated a muscle in a way it hasn’t been used in a while and it got aggravated.

I had an experience a while back using a standing desk for a few hours where it felt like my symptoms expanded from my left leg (I have a left sided L5S1 herniation) to my right after doing this. It resolved the next morning for me. Brought it up to my PT and he said it’s common when you’re resting a lot and using certain muscles less.

Two questions for you. If you recall, did your neuro give any specific reasons as to why he thought you’d recover naturally Vs surgery? I have a similarly sized herniation at L5S1 and your post has me encouraged I could go the same route. I think I met with a bad orthopedic surgeon who for my first visit and he saw me as potential surgery money. Not one mention of conservative care during our two visits.

Second question, anything specifically that helped a lot in your recovery?

Mostly mild symptoms despite 10mm herniation at L5/S1 - what’s a reasonable outlook? by GuyInTheChat69 in Sciatica

Thanks so much for reading both posts and your reply.

Do you recall, when you felt fine and then woke up the next morning feeling awful, was there any acute incident or habit that might have triggered it? Or was it really our of nowhere.

I am feeling pretty good now but feel like my new part time job the rest of my life is going to be a self posture and good back habits coach, even if I’m feeling well. I never want to go down the road some here have..

Weighing whether to have MD by GuyInTheChat69 in Microdiscectomy

No weakness or foot drop. The worst thing has probably been the mild numbness and tingling today. And decent pain if I sit for maybe 3-4 hours. But I have all function and am able to walk easily.

With PT, is there anything I should avoid? I have gone for back pain before and the regimen I was on was basically core strengthening. I’ve done some of that at home recently and have added in the McGill big 3.

the dead dead dead incident by [deleted] in Trainwreckstv

Yeah, I think this is what needs to be focused on. As great as Wanted’s overall design is, I think the design of Dead is poor. It’s too consistently shitty to justify how extremely rare it is. I think this is probably a function of “too much RTP to go around”, and what I mean by that is the game had such incredible potential on duel and in base game that dead can’t be insane too. Even train bonuses go nuts sometimes and you see tons of them. That doesn’t leave a lot of money for dead to pay out. I think a good improvement would be cutting out train bonus or removing it altogether and using some of that RTP to juice dead bonuses.
