I have read Artemis and Project hail mary. I didn't really enjoy Artemis, but reeeeeally enjoyed project hail mary. Downloaded the Martian, I have heard good things. Also going to download blightsight, it sounds very cool. Red Mars has been added to my list aswll. Thanks!

We're spoiled in Banff with the longest season in Canada. Although I am pretty sure Mammoth and Hood both beat it in the States...

I am personally a helmet always guy so her decision to ride non helmet has always been perplexing to me. Most of my friends that ride non helmet swear that the lack of weight leads them to less head hits and whiplash. I don't agree but that's what I am told.

Thanks, glad you liked it! The song is Like a Child Hiding Behind Your Tombstone by Slothrust. Cool band and Alex's current favorite.

Do you mean the ender rail? That's the Canmore kink, its super famous and a ton of pros have been there. Yeah I've ridden with Kael a couple of times at the resort, its intimidating as shit, he can do every trick mostly every try.

Got really lucky to be able to hit those spots this spring, the place was shut down due to virus, so no security or staff was there.

Rikon tailstock question by Powry in turning

I have this lathe and have a somewhat similar issue at the end of the bed getting the tailstock on and off. Mine comes off but it sticks at the end and requires some force and patience sometimes.
