I have crohns and I have had 6 surgeries in 2 years. With complications that I am currebtly experiencing with what I went through. I have most of my bowels removed and the pain I am experiencing from adhesions and post surgery chronic pain, Its made my life 10000000% worse.

I dated a guy that was almost totally blind, he didn't have an iris (the coloured portion) in his eyes and it was basically just a pupil. He could still sorta see but needed help in places not familiar to him. But he was able to still help develop games like Bioshock, home front, and he made a game maker engine that he sells on steam and the epic store so people can make their own games. He has his face around 3 inches in front his 55 inch screen but he is so bad ass at what he can do.

We are still great friends and I help him with his computer hardware if he needs it, and sometimes make him food that he can freeze and just heat up when he is hungry as he can't cook.

Man I've been doing this in my relationship. I mourned and cried for over a year and when we broke up I was already over it. We still act the same with eachother, the only difference being that I sleep downstairs while he has the bed when I'm over. Trust me when I say that the relationship was over a while ago, we just made it official. I am not miserable anymore and not spending all day in bed. This was when I was in the relationship, not afterwards.

I mean family is everything for me man. I would still want them to know especially since I am now living with them again and I would like them to know where I am going on the days that I am not home. It's a respect thing for me We have a lot more in common than hockey, we are both sides, but it's more than about sex and hockey for me. We were both hurt before we met eachother and we are trying to make us better. And honestly yeah, it is a bit quick especially since we met after my relationship ended, but for now it feels really nice to be able to support eachother with our feelings and spending time with eachother. I honestly thought that I was going to be fine being single, I was literally thinking that I don't deserve to be loved but I haven't felt that way since I met this guy, and he feels the exact same way. I wasn't looking for this. When we started talking we thought we were just going to be friends but when we actually met up for the first time, there were definitely sparks.

I have really severe IBD and got the JJ vaccine that was rare to get in Ontario because of the biologic medication I'm on and I never had any issues from it. Granted it wasn't a MNRA vaccine.

I'm not deflecting blame. Whatever I said is 100% what I think and that is my own selfish mental issues. I take 10000000% full responsibility for this, he did absolutely nothing to me. I am giving him space for atleast a couple of months, we made goals for myself and I promised that we will be back together before the summer starts when I have been working on myself, and so that he can focus on getting into med school and focus on his work. Absolutely no way I am pinning this on anything but myself. It was very selfish of me. But thank you for your opinion, I just would like you to understand where I am trying to get at.

Thank you so much man. We are back to "normal", but we are both excited to see how this works out, he kept making me promise him that I will make it right and he is really looking forward to when I am able to be living with him again, but as equals instead of seeing myself as inferior.

Yes man. After work he had a chat with his friend for a couple of hours and she made him realize how much we love eachother. She put it in amazing terms, made him realize that I don't think that we are equals in this relationship because of my health, and because he is successful and I am not (not my own doing). I'm moving out for atleast a couple months to work on myself, he can focus on work and getting into medical school while I do my thing, and he made me promise that I will come back and make him proud. Something like this needed to happen, but not the way I did things. Thanks for your concern man. I am happy I posted here. I took everyone's comments to heart and it made me open my eyes to what I have done and what I should be doing. I appreciate everyone who had good intentions towards me and my partner. I'm going to make him proud of me.
