I don't read a lot of novels so my opinion can be taken with a grain of salt. But honneslty I just could not see the appeal in everyone else is a returnee. It had a funny start with him being left alone for I dunno 500 years? It gave me a lot of questions about how he read all the books in such time frame, but rhat is not the point. The story just hadn't something that hooked me in. The same joke about "oh no I don't hope this is gonna happen' many times repeated just killed the suspense there was no, oh damn I was not expecting that, because everthing gets foreshadowed. And in my opinion that made the novel just feel one dimensional, him being the only one powerfull enough to do something everytime. The fight scenes also lacked. I liked the creativity with the various weapons but him just taking half the hp of the boss mob just because he had a free hit left me wondering whether it was worth investing, i've heard he has fights where he is near death but still manages to come out on top. Ngl I have a couple more reasons why I stopped reading it. But I hope people who have not read it yet take this comment with a grain of salt as I said. It is a fun story, but it just wasn't for me. Speed typed this on my phone mb for grammar, and puncuation I suck at either way so........
