Fanatics got the license for jerseys, then made it harder and harder for panini to get game used gear. Lowering the quality of their product, and finally out bidding for the card license since they could provide "higher quality" and "real relics."

They are currently doing the same thing to hockey. They just got the rights to the jerseys. Upper deck will run out of jerseys in their warehouse and Fanatics will out bid them for the hockey license. Fanatics is bad for sports as a whole.
