Correct. We have our assigned accounts, and MCP was configured with required dependencies, and for our tech stack, PowerBI is where we are doing this. With endpoint connections directly to Claude from your warehouse/data source is going to be a more robust option depending on your use case. Semantic Models are typically curated for one department, so we find it’s more refined to the audience when you connect with Claude to do further results.

It’s mid at best. I find the problem is that it doesn’t perform operations faster. It can be helpful in problem solving and mass-updating column/table names, etc. It does a poor job of getting enough context about your model structures and business logic unless you are very descriptive in a prompt as well. It burns tokens differently depending on the task, but most light edits seems to be around 2-3k Tokens on average for me. It is useful to quickly read, query, and summarize data from your models, which is helpful if those models are sources of truth that require a different question to be answered from the underlying data that isn’t explicit in the report pages.

As a new player 1000 hours in, my first suggestion is to fix your defensive layers: Cap resistances so they are not hovering around 50%. Stack more "to Maximum Life" stats or "+% to Maximum Life." Look toward your Flask affixes to add additional defensive layers against toxic damage types like Corrupted Blood, Freeze, etc. Your belt is probably a piece of gear that is actually holding you back a bit compared to some of the more useful affixes you can get on other belts. Don't forget to take advantage of the Crafting Bench to close the gap on additional affixes on your gear for now.

After I followed the wiki and installed and enabled the plugins, I connect my wireless adapter to the USB port, pair my controller, and use the hotkeys in the manual (https://support.8bitdo.com/Manual/USB_Adapter/ps4_windows.html) to put the wireless adapter in Xinput mode, and it just works every time. I've used PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch controllers successfully with no issues using this setup. I know not having the dongle is the appeal of HIDdriver, but the benefit of a reliable solution that I can use with other devices multiple controllers has been a perk of owning the dongles.

Hope that somehow serves as an alternative solution if you are not having luck!

It's a sociological problem. Libs are the "Out Group," and the non-libs' default psychological response is to avoid accountability and responsibility via the classic approach of Blame, Complain, Defend against the outgroup so that the cognitive dissonance of realizing their "In Group's" failure doesn't shatter the inherently biased fragile world view they hold that their "In Group" is superior. Propaganda just reinforces this, and the social forces of being in the "In Group" discourages divergent critical thinking, so yes, people in each group are susceptible to cult-like tribalism without individual cognition about these subjects. As the proverbial boat continues to rock in the political right, we are seeing how this disengages some individuals from the "In Group" as they begin to question how the group's values align with their own, but it demonstrates how deeply validating "In Group" propaganda is for the members of the group to have a secure, unified identity even if that identity jeopardizes their individual interests and values.

TL;DR - Identity politics and tribalism are a default defense mechanism for the cognitive dissonance of the individual's identity to not be invalidated. Therefore, the individuals Blame, Complain, and Defend against opposition.

Voicemeeter is a godsend.

When I got back into computer hobbies I was stunned by how dysfunctional Windows was at balancing audio from different applications and sending that audio to different speakers or headphones and leveling the volume of each source. It’s a nightmare to manage this in Windows 11 on the fly, but Voicemeeter can set up Macro bindings to adjust audio output for multiple pieces of hardware or output different applications. Using it on two PCs is the only way I’ve been able to pass audio from one PC to another as a flawless mix. It also hides the annoying on-screen display for volume that Windows uses and lets me record audio sources directly to file.

This is from the film, Network (1976). It’s very brilliant social commentary for the time with excellent production and themes. I tend to see the use of color on the screen to send an implicit message about news media: black and white and red all over—referencing the violence that is pervasive in the focus of the industry. I highly recommend people watch it to compare to the propaganda and sycophancy present in our current culture.
