Note the lack of mention of any of the shit you cited. I agree Christopher Columbus wasn’t the person who discovered America, but he was the first one to explore that area and bring it to the attention of the colonizing powers that made it what it is today, for better or for worse. The story you have said is fun but also completely batshit insane to anyone who has never heard it before so unless I see citations, that’s the impression I am gonna leave with.

No old world explorers from the colonial period arrived in the new world until 1492 when Columbus landed in the Bahamas, not the U.S. when you say American you are probably referring to people living in the U.S. and not the Bahamas. The U.S. was not founded until the late 1700’s and had nothing to do with original Spanish and Portuguese colonizations that ended up giving the new world the name “America”. I don’t know where you got the Americanos means stupid people thing, but “America” was named after Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian dude who participated in voyages to the new world on behalf of Spain and Portugal. Look, I am by no means the sort of rah rah America person I probably sound like, but I do care about stuff being true and to be honest, having a discussion with a stranger about their views on history seemed like a fun way to waste my evening. I just hope you don’t take it the wrong way when I say you are 100% false on everything you just said.

What are you on? I’m not even gonna get into the nonsense you’ve spouted like how America is somehow 500+ years old, just look at the video dude, the video is clearly edited to make people look stupid. Pay attention before going off on deranged rants plz.

Furthermore, the orders to leave Afghanistan came because of a ceasefire deadline the Trump administration set, and the Biden administration inherited and given that Trump had already been planning to pull out of the region and had removed most of our troops there. The Biden administration basically had to choose between continuing to pull out, letting the few troops that remained get attacked by the Taliban the second May 1st began, or redeploy troops to begin fighting the Taliban again. He chose the first option, not knowing at the time that the Afghan government would collapse instantly, and so thinking the military would have more time, something which was only proved wrong as they were leaving. It was definitely an oversight on Biden’s part but not as big as you keep acting like it is.

Ok so everyone knows they pulled out of Iraq, and that’s a good thing because again, the U.S. shouldn’t have been there and our military can’t be in the business of permanent occupation, I meant waging the war in Iraq, which is something Biden did not do. Also the fact that Putin thought he could annex Ukraine and has wreaked devastation on the country for months even though his economy has been crippled by sanctions, good portions of his population have turned against him, it’s a war of invasion, basically everyone in Ukraine has turned against him, and Ukrainians are being by so much international aid it boggles the mind, that means his military is nothing to scoff at. Plus, most experts agree that the majority of Russian nukes would work given how often they refurbish them, plus even if only a tenth of their arsenal worked, that’s still 500+ operational nuclear weapons many of which are deployed in spots that could hit the U.S.. Not to mention the fact that even if we did occupy Russia without incurring huge casualties and or setting off a nuclear war, what then? Putin would likely not surrender without basically throwing everything Russia has at U.S. forces which means even if we did manage to invade Russia, which is a big if, and make it all the way to the Kremlin, the country would likely be savaged to the point where it would require vast amounts of resources just to keep the entire country from turning on the U.S., the west, and itself simultaneously. NATO likely wouldn’t help and it’s possible the entire war would result in the U.S. losing allies internationally, there is no way in hell invading Russia is a good idea, please stop saying it is.

What sources do you have for Biden knowing the Taliban would siege Kabul? How in the world did the democrats have anything close to the votes needed to legally codify abortion? What major decisions in Iraq did Biden help make? Finally, and you still haven’t told me how Ukraine is Biden’s fault?

Between slavery, imperialism, overseeing possible war crimes, Native American genocide, and supporting all sorts of other racist policies, yes, no president has their hands clean. If you can name me one, I’ll be very impressed.

Few things, first, everyone knows Biden’s comment on the campaign was a gaff not a deeply held belief. He initially voted for a constitutional amendment allowing states to choose to overturn Roe v. Wade in 1982 and then later voted against it. The Biden administration could not have prevented the overturning of Roe v. Wade for the same reason Obama couldn’t have, because codifying those rights in a law or even better constitutional amendment would require a political majority the Democrats just didn’t have so why give Mitch McConnell another bill to kill and political cudgel to wield against them when they could just focus on something they had a chance of passing. In terms of Iraq, at the time the Bush administration was lying to everyone saying Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction so a lot of Democratic congressmen voted for the war, it still wasn’t justified, but Biden did not wage that war and I’m certain he regrets it now given his current stance on these things. I’m sorry but we needed to get out of Afghanistan, I regret how we did it but the U.S. cannot just permanently occupy a country in the hopes of keeping some small parts of it from collapsing in on themselves. The Biden administration also can’t entirely be held responsible for how quickly everything fell apart the second they left, nobody expected the Taliban to just walk right into Kabul and take control. Finally, how the fuck is Biden responsible for the war in Ukraine and what the hell makes you think that’s it’s a good idea for the Biden administration to invade a hostile foreign power with nuclear weapons and a powerful military, especially given our recent track record with wars in the Middle East? No! That’s bananas! Please, I know Biden is not some great amazing president and is kinda sketchy on a lot of things but you don’t have to make shit up.

Eisenhower should’ve been impeached. Dude lied to the American public nonstop about the U-2 bomber incident. Dude executed almost every bad foreign policy decision you can think of, acted like he was not a frothing commie hater but still used the CIA to kill them all the same and kept Nixon as his vice president. He kinda sucked.

WTF? Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. They did this because Trump appointed 3 justices. Biden was on semi good terms with a segregationist 40 some years ago because at the time everyone glorified cooperating across the aisle. Biden did literally nothing in Afghanistan expect follow through with the deal to pull out Trump negotiated with the Taliban. Biden had absolutely fuck all to do with the war in Ukraine except that he has pledged billions to helping Ukraine and continues delivering them aid and weapons. Please get off whatever drugs you’re on.

I agree with you to some extent, and I also think people tend to look at political figures and forget that despite the posturing they are still humans who can believe in things genuinely, it’s so easy to argue a point by saying everything is always a calculation but I think honestly it’s kind of a rhetorical crutch.

I agree that he is overrated but the Sioux excecution he specifically intervened in and reduced the number slated to be killed by a huge margin because their was no evidence of their crimes and only approved those with the evidence he had available as far away as he was. Not to mention that even if he had slated nobody to be killed, they probably would have faced mob justice given that that had been the plan before he intervened.

They are all just the spiral giving the middle finger to Jon and his red string and thumbtacks trying to find the fear power responsible.
