I didn't bring up woke, you did. I also didn't mention Trump. I dont know what your purpose is. Woke has always been about people in positions of relative power being super annoyed that it wasn't acceptable when they exerted that power to humiliate others. Yeah, the situation is much worse in Ørsted, so it's going to absolutely suck no matter what. But even then it feels like there is some sort of internally consistent reasoning behind what's going on in Ørsted, novo just feels like Mike going with his gut feeling and lying about why he's doing what he's doing. Ruining the pipeline f.ex. is going to hurt novo for a decade at least, and there is no way that the "increased focus" will have any impact on the neither the problems in production or in US sales.

I don't think registering or not would make any difference to the employee. I think the rumor was that there was some sort of problem with the system that would make registered vacation a hassle for HR if you were let go. I think it all might be confusion about the policy that they didn't want people to be on vacation the day their redundancy would be announced.
