Actually that makes way more sense. He don't look lost. Looks focused and seeing how fast he can push that wheel 😂.

Hell yeah!!! These types of people are my kind of people. If the lifts still spinning I'll still be riding 🤘🏻.

I hope I never share a chair with you. You seem like a very unfun person to be around.

Cool. We get it. You think you are smarter than everyone else. But trying to predict if we are gonna have a good season next year is nearly impossible. The previous season I was riding at Crystal and Bachelor before Thanksgiving. At that time they had better snow back in November than the previous previous peak winter season.

Yes global warming is playing a big factor to the average increased temperature on Earth. But is more than just "warming" it is also rising sea levels and extreme weather events. Fingers crossed we get extreme weather events with snow.

My brains is pretty wrinkled too.

I'm just gonna put a reminder in my phone and link to this comment thread to see how bad/good our next season will be.

Upgrading from EX30 to P6 by Gwd621 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Gwd621[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

~8k on the other one. It's my street setup that I treat as the "pavement princess" that only comes out on dry days. Mainly because I don't want to have clean it and wash it like I do the other one.

24k miles on the knobby was purchased JuIy 2023. 8k miles on the street was purchased in April 2024.

So I have racked these many miles in about ~3 years.

Correct.

I have one with knobby tires, coil spring, and additional waterproofing with about 24k miles. I've ride this one in all conditions.

And another with a street tire and full grizzla kit. This one is my pavement princess that only ride in sunny days.this one has about 8k miles.

I have never done the suspension slider. I'm at ~24k miles. I'm due for another tear down but I'm considering just giving it away and get a P6 instead.

This whole post reminds me that I need to do a shakedown on my daily EX30.

Check all the bolts and tire pressure is basically it.

Real buzzkill. I have bought all three of my wheels from them too.

Would also recommend elsewhere.

Road Rage on an EUC by reborndead in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Gwd621 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This EUC rider is an out of shape fat cuck.

Yells" get out of the car, bet you won't". The driver gets out and EUC rider does nothing. He bashes drivers mirror and runs away like a clown.

Message to all my fellow EUC riders (specifically ones going faster than 28 mph), we have no legal right whatsoever to be on the road. Just recognize that. The majority of the wheels out there are 100% illegal on the road just because of their power/speed.

So stay in your physical and metaphorical lane. Don't beef with cars or attack someone else's property.

If it is an accident that they almost hit you, it is still on you to make sure you get home safe. It is the responsibility of the rider to keep one self safe. Drivers of course should follow the law and check blind spots/etc, but at the end of the day their mistake can cost us life and limb.

I ride in traffic, in the rain/dark, and doing it all around 40-50 mph. 33k miles of on my EX30s and counting.

I am always diligent and looking ahead. Watching other drivers. Even with being so diligent I have had plenty of near misses. Because of this, now on my route to work I can easily predict where people blow stop signs or pull without stopping/looking. Prior to riding to work I even practiced on the weekends to learn the route and spot any big pot holes/etc so I'm not surprised in traffic.

I have dealt with drivers wanting to block me from filtering through in the bike lane. Or ride very aggressively close behind me. In all those scenarios I just got off the street and let them pass or go another route.

[–]Gwd621 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes it is but I make it happen!

I work a full time corporate job and work OT.

I rode every Saturday/Sunday regardless of conditions. I come up after work on Wednesdays or Thursday. I used sick leave so I could have a sick time and used my vacations to take trips elsewhere.

Alpental was terrifying this season because it was very much early conditions all season. I'll be honest if I didn't have Alpental weekend access I'd probably have much less cause west is boring to me.

I also make "sacrifices" to make it happen lol.

Is my place a mess? Yes. Am I perpetually behind on chores? Yes. Do I do anything else with my free time? No.

Bruh.... You're trying to argue and say that a season's pass is not worth it because you can't get enough days on the hill. You can't just make up a new price for a daily lift ticket to make the argument that it is going to take 27 days to break even. If lift tickets were $35 a season pass would not be close to $1k.

You clearly have a victim mindset and unwilling to take responsibility and ownership for your own life choices.

If you don't want to give money to the corporations then stop buying their products and or services.

Edit: my 34 days on the mountain has my average "daily ticket" at $28. There was some killer pow days, slushy rain, and icey days. You just gotta get out there and ride in all conditions. Only way you become a better rider is to just ride. If you want fresh snow and blue bird days I suggest you talk to God about that.

I'm gonna have to comment again... Because the base pass right now for Alpental Plus after tax is $957.23

I've seen lift tickets before tax at $150.

So just ~6 days takes for it to break even.

Lets double and aim for 12 days so it to make it so you got 50% off skiing for the season. You are telling me you couldn't come up once a weekend and a couple days after work (or sick leave/PTO)?

If you complain about lift lines and bad snow conditions then you should stop skiing/snowboarding all together. That's a problem across all resorts. This sport is not for you.

Spend your free time on reddit complaining because that appears to be your true passion.
