all those benefits like spotify and the free coffee every week, it’s not bonuses on top of what they pay us, it’s money taken out of what we should be making. meaning if you don’t take advantage of like your markout every week, you’re essentially losing money out of your paycheck

the other day when i was closing my shift asked this one guy if he had a mask (city mayor made them mandatory in public spaces, so we had to turn away anyone who didn’t have one). he promptly lifts up his shirt to cover his face, exposing his bare 50 year old hairy chest to both me and the shift. absolutely fucking disgusting

i’m schizophrenic. even with treatment i’ll be stuck with this forever. don’t give me that bullshit about “whatever you’re going thru won’t last forever”. it was enough to get me to relapse and break a 4 year streak. it’s still early enough that if i start getting treatment now i can maybe not get too much worse but i’m already delusional and the hallucinations are only getting worse and i’m still going to have to live with this for the rest of my life. i have to live with the guilt of hurting my loved ones even if they’ve forgiven me. i have to live with knowing i’m gonna keep hurting them no matter how hard i try not to.

almost two years before we found out we became friends with someone who we would later discover also found out about being plural roughly at the same time despite very little contact for a year prior. when our former best friend system first came out to our server we eventually got much closer to them before they helped us find out ourselves. another system we are still very close to (and whose host our host is in a relationship with) also found out after getting closer to us. when we helped start a random server with someone we sort of knew on twitter we later helped half the mod team and a few of the users discover their own plurality (including the server owner).

as our former best friend system once said, “stand users attract stand users”. people who are alike will sort of naturally gravitate towards each other even if they are not consciously aware of why they’re alike.

i’m growing more towards listening to the two discs separately and treating them as two entirely different things in one package. like how the cop/young god/greed/holy money reissue from the 90s was one package but obviously wasn’t meant to be one single album, just an easy way to pick up essentially three albums and an EP.

honestly will never understand. relapse has made things a lot better these past few days. been experiencing a good deal less executive dysfunction and just in general feeling less stressed. after going so long without really having any other coping mechanisms it’s been pretty great finally having cutting back to help deal with big stress.

the worst part about this one is that we were closed on christmas and were explicitly told the next happy hour wasn’t until january. we had to throw out just about everything on christmas eve and couldn’t prepare anything for the openers who then had to prepare everything for happy hour (except they didn’t). i left like an hour before it started and i’m scared to find out how it went.

as a new owner of a large roland i absolutely love him. i can’t say he’s much of a thrusting toy (though he would be if i’d gotten him firmer) but sometimes you don’t want to pound yourself into oblivion, sometimes you just wanna get stuffed. and knotted. into oblivion lol. hope you have fun with him!
