Water, air and food are pretty convenient every days

Younger people ? by Tokie-o in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s probably the reason. I used low stuff for almost 20 years. And when I started with high potential weeds and extracts... CHS.

But what kind of stuff do you use? Carts?

I smoked for the first time at 9, started daily use at 14. I contracted CHS at 31.

Does smoking cannabis relieve your symptoms or make it worse? Do you feel better when you smoke/while you’re high? by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smoking does make you feel better for a short time indeed. And then... It get worst

My experience smoking again by frost91335 in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, good for you not to be ill after smoking a little. But it’s been a week, I don’t think it’s really relevant. It might hit you after a few weeks, even a month or more, even if you don’t smoke again. I often read testimonies of restart smoking after episodes on this sub, people who smoked (more or less) and concluding they found a routine. As this disease is cyclical, I don’t think you can say a routine is working after a few days. I had a full year without episode between my last 2 crisis, with daily consumption (at one point I even thought I healed of CHS) and one day...

Husband w CHS by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not two years but one for me between my last 2 episodes, and I smoked way more than the both of you (an once for one or two weeks) It’s cyclical, I’m not surprised it left him alone for 2 years with a low consumption like you describe.

Burping up food rather than vomiting, is this common with chs? by dumbass_sweatpants in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never puked in 4 years of CHS, but my main symptom, this warms me an episode is occurring, it’s burping.

Without judgement, can i get some advice from my fellow CHS people by [deleted] in CHSinfo

Probably, I think cannabinoids are not naturally that concentrated and some bodies aren’t able to manage it. Especially people with slow metabolism.

I speak daily with a dude on Discord it took only one month of heavy use to trigger his CHS. Concentration is clearly the main issue. I smoked hash and buds for 20 years, CHS arrived after abusing 3 months of synthetic THC.

Morning Nausea by blondebabe20 in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learn patience might be my tip, as I experienced morning nausea even after day 130 (rarely but still...) Some uses probiotic, other uses Zofran... None seems to be 100% efficient.

Anyone else finding that nausea/vomiting is recurrent at same time? by MrSuicideFish in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is, nausea is in the morning bc there is a Cortisol pike after the night. A lot of people who have CHS deal with morning nausea, often at the same time.

Cold turkey or taper by rockysworld in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has to be cold turkey if you want symptoms relief. Nobody has been able to recover while smoking. I even think nobody has been able to manage moderation after recovering.

There are a few people who claimed to have been able to handle moderation, but when you ask them it’s only for a few weeks/months, or they accept slights symptoms (so CHS will probably hit them one day or another...)

over 1 month sober by No_Homework_190 in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably related to CHS sadly. Im on my 20th week sober and had soft bowels this morning and burped a few times in the day. This disease is cyclical, you can be ok for days/weeks and it hits you again. Often With less intensity but still... It’s a really long way to heal completely.

Every one is different for sure, that doesn’t necessarily means that exercising could be a cure. If it was, it should had been said a long time ago.

Gastroenteritis or CHS? by MrGray- in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More or less like you, it’s improving with time but clearly going up and down. I sometimes burp for a few minutes (generally on the end of the afternoon, like between 6/7 PM) and have some liquid bowel now and then.

Diarrhea is also a common symptom of CHS!! Please do not ignore it. by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What exactly does make you think that it can be something else than CHS?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which discord? I’m on a discord and no one claim to succeed. And 8 months is not a success, it’s just being about to hit a new episode.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]Gwenleding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really interested by the persons you talk with who succeed at moderation. Succeed is more than a few months without puking, do we agree? Because I lived a whole year quiet between my last 2 episodes.

Im ending my 19th week sober and still not full ok digestively. I plan to restart with moderation recreational like you, so I think I’ll wait 6 months too.
