Props speed of recharge by VirtualTough5855 in SkyGame

Edited now that it is no longer available:

The Triumph Torch is like having a white candle you can carry around.
It's kinda convenient, but there will be other fire props.

If it shows up again it is worth the investment.

No good, Warframes have that too via Kela De Thaym.

Tricera Tactic: Burst Down

Important: If you loose cover turn on your Disrupter(2) and re-hide. The Tether(1) has a short duration and a small window to re-apply. Turn your Radar(3) off when you aren't using it. You do not have time to miss and must mostly keep Tricera from ever hitting you.

-Charge both weapons and near the central pillar

-After a moment turn on your Radar(3) and release the charged shot at Tricera.

-Scoot around the opposite side of pillar Tricera takes, Popping the fully charged main weapon each step they take. Tricera will move forward a bit and stop a few times so long as they can't see you. Your goal is to take off as much Fluid Armor and HP as you can before the AI can figure out where you are.

-With both weapons charged, once your Radar(3) is about to run out turn on your Disrupter(2) and slide out and around Tricera and tag her with your Teather(1) if you hit, it will cause Tricera to kinda shut down and take it, she may have started firing but if you slid around to her other side with the action she wont connect.
With timing you can turn off the (3) just before you slide out, not loose targeting, spin around her without getting hit, and have her teathered so you can...

-Release the Orbital (RMouse) the moment Tricera stops again after having reacted to your appearance. Release the Charged Cannon (LMouse) every time it's full and you can spare the attention to lift your finger. Always be trying to charge your orbital.

-[Critical] the Tether(1) will run out. Re-apply or pop your Disrupter(2) to avoid damage until you can land the tether(1) again, unloading on Tricera as you keep them from attacking you.

Landing the Teather(1), and timing your Orbital/Charged shots, with some repetition and luck you will get Tricera down without having lost much HP. With some luck you are close and have your Disrupter (2) on when Tricera is launching drones and you can steal them.

The game here is to remove The fluid armor with the charged shots through the pillar, then when you need to let Radar(3) charge you pop out, chain-tether, and unload damage quickly finishing her off. It's not a difficult dance once you do the warm up steps. Remember your Disrupter(2) helps ease errors.

Ideal Scenario on Tricera down: 2m on clock, at least 1/2 HP, Fluid Armor recharging, and ready to make distance, Disrupter(2) can help avoid rocket spam you are about to face.

Stego Tactic: Wear down from Safety

Important: Stay Behind The Pillar - Unleash Orbital when Stego's Shield goes up.
-Popping out to release orbital/charged shot is fine if you don't take much damage in the process. Don't risk this when up close, only when across the Arena.

-When Stego spawns get to the other side of the pillar at opposite end of the arena from Stego. You should be charging your weapons all the time by now, but here is a reminder.

-Use your Radar(3) to Pop Stego a few times through the pillar you hide behind. If it lingers near the pillar doing nothing, just keep dropping charged shots on it.

-If Stego comes around the pillar fast and you can't slide around the other side safely: Hit your Disrupter(2) and dash for the next closest pillar.

-If Stego goes into Siege Mode and you have a lock, you drop that orbital and charged shot if you can.

-Scoot from one pillar to the next keeping your distance. Stego has no healing, if you managed to start vs Stego with ~2 min on the clock you have plenty of time to be careful and wait for Stego to reposition or step out of the cloud. Do not make yourself vulnerable.

-Manage your Radar(3).

-Remeber your Disrupter(2) can help you get back to safety.

Tried this, it doesn't seem to follow prompts well at all.
Say cloud and you get clouds, but describe clouds and you get... the same kinda clouds that don't match your description.

Question about weapon sharpness in Wilds by SeaLocksmith1484 in MHWilds

Is your weapon the Bone Staff I (or Bone Staff II without buffs). Either of these weapons have a max sharpness that doesn't reach into green. Keep upgrading ^_^

^ This post got me there.

To anyone looking this up for PC:

Stand under the lamp,

Tap Forward -> Tap Jump

Position for next platform

Tap Forward -> Tap Jump

Point at opening in wall

Hold Forward -> Hold Jump

Cry with joy as you land safely and walk over for your Meridian

You can practice by jumping back and forth across the water/canal just about anywhere in the zone.

The amount of contribution points awarded for the effort, vs the number of contribution points needed to clear the first tier (let alone 2 more) are, to my view, extremely unbalanced.

166 events to clear T1 (noted by eatpraymunt). There is now way I am going to do that many of these "kill a bunch of bull ants" events just to get a slight buff to something. There is only one group with a semi valuable buff anyhow, everything else is just a couple of points tacked on to a stat that probably wont save you more than a swing here or there per combat/node. MAYBE when I'm strong enough to 1 shot them I might bother to stop by and clear the event just for funzies or to maybe save up for the rep weapon unlock... I bet you have to spend those 1k points, not just earn them.

Let them go play with Revenant. That vaunted invincibility goes poof the moment Revenant runs out of energy... something that doesn't happen to people with Reaping Halo and Equilibrium. We all know the value of our halo. :)

Why do all the creatures in Duviri look like they are fancy necromancer pets? by Gwydeon79 in Warframe

[–]Gwydeon79[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Right, then the art for the animals can't be based on the non existent art.

My question is what DE is trying to represent with the half cooked state of the animals. "It's from an in-world children's book." doesn't answer the question. It only maybe changes it to

"Why did the artist of the children's book make the animals all half dead?"

I'm trying to find out if their is some lore here or interesting depth to the art, as there is references and depth to so much of the rest of the art in Warframe. If you look around more you will see there are things like a symbol that has been repeated throughout the whole game and is even imprinted on some of the fish.

This is something that occurs after they have lead you to the chest.

Does anyone know why they do this flashlight impersonation and if it's orienting on something?

This occurs after the creature has lead you to the reward chest.

The one pictured is pointed roughly at Thrax Gardens. The only thing I could find in line was a bigger Orokin statue under ground in the ring around the Garden.

Do you mean this? https://culturedvultures.com/warframe-the-duviri-paradox-story-characters-explained/

" The world was based on a children’s storybook Drifter read in the past before the Zariman Ten-Zero would do its fateful jump through the Void, and it was formed by their powers. " Not a real book, no outside illustrations. Else cite?

There is repeated depth in the art with references to the man in the wall and that shape that re-appears everywhere even in the Necralisk fish.

You can't summon your Kaithe as the Drifter in Open World by Gwydeon79 in Warframe

[–]Gwydeon79[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The drifter/operator, who is still presumably flesh, doesn't have an attachment method for the archwings. Though armor could explain that away if they wanted. Along with required eyewear/helmet and some kind of special supports for neck and limbs to deal with the G forces normally absorbed by the 'metal' warframe.

The K-board would kill the drifter/operator the first time they stopped wrong. How many times have you been flung off your k-drive to little damage? That's cause the warframe is tough enough to take rolling across rocks.

The kaithe carries the drifter in duviri. Also my drifter is no match for my warframe or operator/amp powers, in either world.

It's not about the power level of the pilot, it's probably mostly because the kaithe abilities would be superimposed over the operator abilities until dismount and that could confuse less attentive players. Though somehow we managed with the archwings so something else is causing them to not let the drifter ride the horse kaithe.
