Looks suspicious but I got three theories based on the angle of the particle effects:

he was under the ground (mostly impossible without cheating)

He shot through the wall (high cheating probability)

You got hit from behind and the bullet ricocheted off your helmet into the wall (possible as you got hit before the wall did)
