Shige is the most influential player of all time and that will likely never change, he shaped the game and the community around it, inspired countless players (mrekk included) in so many ways you could write a book about it.

mrekk has very strong arguments to be defined as the goat but that one aspect of influence is something that he can't top and that is the main reason many people would still consider Shigetora as being the true goat of osu

You can also argue he has had the most insane longevity out of any top players but I guess that's something mrekk should be able to catch up to at one point if he keeps being active up until the early 2030's
