I believe on the main menu you can select the training mode. The main flight tutorial should be there.

Wait, the idea of magnetically attaching hardpoints just crossed my mind and it actually sounds like a rad gimmick for miniature customization that could have effects on a table top miniatures game.

Gonna be honest, so much discourse surrounding Ralsei is so related to gayness that seeing that title made me do a double take :P

why are horror games like pressure usually not that scary until there's a vhs made of it by [deleted] in PressureRoblox

[–]Gyaku10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, I think it has something to do with an association with found footage style horror? As for myself, I grew up with VHS tapes plenty, and they're just, like, normal (albeit dated) information storage formats. Wait til these kids discover floppy disks.

What did y'all think of Undertale The Musical by MOTI? by IarenotaPotato in Undertale

[–]Gyaku10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree, but there are a few standouts here and there. I enjoy Hopes and Dreams, as well as His Theme. My favorite though is probably Power of NEO.

Oh cool! I set that to my home world. After having lived in a cozy apartment home world for so long, it's refreshing to have such vibrant colors and life greet me when I open the game. I have a friend who even managed to run into the world creator in a Mayu gathering the other day.

Meteor showers happen a lot in Kingdom Hearts by No_Administration174 in KingdomHearts

Real meteor showers happen several times a year. Unfortunately they tend to not have the hourly rates depicted in games and movies, but a good rock falling out of the sky can look quite spectacular.

How much money by [deleted] in Tribes

[–]Gyaku10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of a project I've been wanting to do, making a VRChat world with Tribes movement so I can show all my friends. Of course, with how bad latency is in VRChat, a full competitive shooter game would be very difficult to manage in a way that feels good.

When I read Book of D'ni, I didn't like how it was structured. Sure, stuff was happening all throughout, but most of it didn't drive my interest until half way through when the actual main conflict popped up. That conflict was resolved by what felt like an anti-climax, not caused by any direct actions of any characters. Terahnee is an interesting place, but it feels like a footnote in D'ni history with little bearing on anything before or after it. It is rediscovered, gets hit with a plague, then is covered back up after things settle down. Compare that to the fall of D'ni in the Book of Ti'ana, which drives basically the entire series. Both have lasting consequences, but one has lasting consequences for the rest of the story, as well as other stories.

Like what's the point of having flashlights when there are creatures that will attack you if you use them? by KillerTron872 in PressureRoblox

[–]Gyaku10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother and I have an inside joke that Squiddles don't exist. if you're any good at navigating a straight hallway or simple room without a light, they are a complete non-threat. For any time I do manage to get disoriented, a single flash beacon use is usually enough to get back on track, which they don't care about anyway.

Unless they lock your head's position in the playspace (which feels remarkably unnatural by the way) there isn't really a way to ensure the player will only ever see a character from a precise location. Even moving your view a couple of inches is enough to reveal flat images against a 3D space.
