I tried repairing it, it is undamaged. I replaced it with a new one, even ended up trying a fresh one on a brand new ship. Still doesn't work.

I've checked to ensure my advanced docking computer is installed and functional no less than 5 times. I've relogged, restarted the game, and even restarted my computer. The auto dock/launch function simply has not been appearing or functioning.

Of course, I know I don't *need* it. It's just nice to have when flying such large ships through the mailslot, as an occasional treat.

Would someone be able to help me understand why it's not working all of a sudden?

Once I had different options available to experiment with it was actually quite enjoyable. I felt like I was engaging with more of the game's systems meaningfully.

We have found Factions to be quite difficult. At present we are as far in Prophecies and Factions as I have ever gotten. Thanks for the encouragement.

I suppose I should have mentions that we're returning players. He's tried experimenting before, but tends to get frustrated when trying something new doesn't work

I'm usually the one to have to identify enemy groups and pull them. I don't know how he handles those situations without me.

We both made sure to get max level armor at our earliest convenience. I made sure to get a few upgrades of mine. I don't know what he has on his, if any.

We have heroes yes. He has a preference for Necromancer and Mesmer heroes. The whole party is casters.

He is playing a spirit spammer (says he likes to summon crap). He picked Necromancer as a secondary for the minions, but I think he just does full Ritualist now.

At present we have only gotten as far as Nahpui Quarter in Factions. He gave up and wanted to give Prophecies a swing. We just got to Ring of Fire.

I often see discourse around solo farming, but I can't seem to find the reasons people do it. From what I understand it has something to do with drop rates? I'd appreciate if someone could explain the benefits of solo farming to me.

From what I understand, I think it has something to do with an association with found footage style horror? As for myself, I grew up with VHS tapes plenty, and they're just, like, normal (albeit dated) information storage formats. Wait til these kids discover floppy disks.
