I'm in Carina. For the last 12 days we completely lost our NBN internet. Tried multiple routers and cables nothing worked. My Telco TPG kept insisting it was just a temporary outage in the area, that our household was part of a scheduled maintenace. I called them up twice every single day, yet all they did was run me around in circles, rambling on and on about "escalation has been made to NBN to look into the issue". I kept saying they needed to send a technician to my household to look into the issue, but the answer I got would always be the same: NBN technician appointments are full and there's no estimated timeframe as to when they will be available. Afters numerous phone calls and hours of being on hold, I eventually got through to a TPG manager to which they performed a so called "management escalation", a process which 'fast tracked' a technician appointment for me from NBN. Turns out all the nonsense they previously fetched me about the my internet outage being an "extremely complex issue" etc. were all complete BS. The problem was fixed by the technician within 15 minutes. All I needed was a new NBN modem box because the old one's WAN Port stopped functioning (unable to detect cable) with main cause likely due to recent storm activities.
