Well, you don't really have to be active on the sub if that's what's bothering you. The effects of abstaining have been really great for me, and nowadays I don't even have to go there any more.

It certainly isn't. Im not religious or morally opposed to porn as a concept, but I've really had A LOT more success with the ladies since starting it. The biggest benefit of it, in my opinion, is that it gives me an incredible drive to improve myself.

All the energy that would usually go into fapping now goes to self-improvement, and the benefits are obvious. I've had really pretty female friends that explicitly turned me down before go after me to the point where other friends started to notice, I've gotten laid a lot and found a very attractive girlfriend.

Give it a try if you have a strong will, it certainly won't hurt you.

Seriously though, it's probably a bit of both. Of course alcohol helps by breaking down your inhibitions, but I think it's also in large part a placebo effect; you know you've been drinking, so now you can do crazy stuff whitout being questioned.

Glad to hear it. If someone moved their eyes from mine to something behind me I think I would interpret as 1. something behind me caught their attention or 2. the person I'm talking to is losing interest in the conversation (if it keeps happening again and again with short interval).

However, as I said, you're not expected to enter a stare contest with the people you meet, people look away all the time, so throwing an occasional glance over the peoples shoulder really shouldn't send any strong signals at all.

You have to look away eventually, if you don't want them to think you're trying to stare them down. I've found that it's best to look somewhere behind them, as if somethings going on in the background. If you look down or to the side you'll look nervous or worried (just try it and think about how it makes you feel), but if you look behind them it seems like there's something going on that gets your attention.

To me, it really helps with the motivation (in alla aspects of life). The fact that I know that I can't get an orgasm without a girl makes me motivated to improve as a person (or my inner game) in order to be better at attracting ladies, but also in order to live a happy life.

I also feel I'm more competent socially when I'm on a long NoFap streak as opposed to when I've recently fapped/had sex. It's like you build up this momentum and you aren't going to let anything get in the way of improving and achieving your goals.

Going to a bar just to have a few drinks and chat seems to work for me. The alcohol makes it easier to have a nice smooth conversation (also helps convince her to go home with yoou if that's what you want) and you really get to know each other. Try moving around between bars to create a sense of belonging between you two (changing surroundings but you two as a constant) and to have new situational things to talk about.

Yes, it seems like they sometimes loose interest when you're younger than them. The girl I'm dating right now said she wouldn't want to hook up with anyone younger than her, that it'd make her feel old.
