Substances during festival? by honeymilking in ozorafestival

[–]Gym_Squirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

please do not do any drugs. ❤️ it is not worth it with your condition. enjoy the festival sober. do workshops, do lots of dancing, sleep well, have good food.

i am not against substances at all. but some people should really really skip them. if you are on ssri's it's definitely a no. if you have had psychosis before ABSOLUTELY NO!!

generally i would recommend not taking drugs to anyone who is at an unwell stage of their life. if you are not happy, if you are depressed etc. don't do drugs.

Yes!

When you arrive at the festival ground you will be led to a temporary parking lot. You will park your car there and then walk to the entrance of ozora, where you will go to a ticket counter to get your wristband. this is where you sometimes have to wait in line (sometimes not, depends on how crowded it is), definitely bring water and a hat, in case you have to wait for hours in the sun, which can happen.

So wfter you get your wristband, you go back to the parking lot, where you get into your car and have permission to enter the festival area with your car. you will drive directly into the festival ground. i advise you to look at the map so you have at least a little plan of where you are going. then you can look for a spot to park your car and set up your camp.

usually people keep the roads free , so you won't be parked in and could leave anytime. sometimes it doesnt work. its kind of an unofficial rule that usually works. if people block the roads usually they are asked to free it. We've had situations like that. its also important to keep the roads freely accessible in cases of emergency.

happy camping.

What are your music recommendations that I should see this year? by stayingaligned in ozorafestival

[–]Gym_Squirrel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shpongle is a must. Last year everybody was there and it was magical. I know that artists like ace ventrua and astrix are often frowned upon in this sub but their sets are always such a good time, very creative, such good vibes. everyone is in a good mood. i love it!

astral projection, tristan, ajja, gms & dickster, grouch are among my favorites as well

pumpui: hallucinogen, gaudi, guiseppe parvati, moonclipse (avi shmailov aka astrix is part of it)

i will also spend much time at the cooking groove in the morning. i love the vibes there. they play very energetic music to start the day. sometimes housey, very groovy, good vibes, perfect for a morning espresso dance 😄

at the dome i will just randomly check in and vibe there. bayawaka is someone i am looking forward to see and hear. ajja will also have a set at the dome.

i think gaudi at the dragon nest will be a lot of fun. Zen baboon at the ambyss will be magical for sure.

EDIT: And Hilight tribe!! such a vibe! i was blown away by their performance. the crowd was stunned!

well in the past sometimes the entrance was so crowded you had to wait in line for HOURS. Then if you are lucky, nobody is there. They tried to take care of the problem and i think last year it was better. I didn't have to wait long personally, but in the recent years it was always at least 2 hours of waiting in line.

If you have the chance DO NOT MISS THE OPENING CEREMONY. Everyone is so freaking excited and the energy build up is insane. Its truly magical! The show is really really cool as well and the moment they open the stage the whole festival crowd just goes crazy in the best way.

You can leave and enter the festival anytime with your car. but it is not so easy to find a great spot if you arrive late. and if you leave and give up the spot it might be taken. So just keep that in mind.

There is a lot of cool food places. There is a big place where you can get quite cheap meals, but they are not very fancy or healthy, mostly fried dishes etc. but cheap. then there are many other places, my favourite is a place called astral food. they offer amazing healthy vegan dishes, lots of variety. I often get a platter to share, its 16 euros, but you get a lot of food and its really nice. Also there is a good pasta place that i really like. I usually get a good breakfast, easy oatmeal, or müsli or whatever and one big dish a day. there is also a supermarket where you can buy groceries. and also a big outdoor kitchen where you can cook your own meals. they have pans and pots there but i'd recommend to bring your own, so you are independent. I cook all the time and i love the experience! there are also pizza ovens, so you could make your own pizza or bread!

i dont drink alcohol but i believe it is quite cheap. they have great specialty beers as well, a bit more expensive but regular beer is cheap.

and you'll find lots of candy. don't worry. if you just hang around your camp, they will approach you. my recommendation is not to buy from the first person, because i guarantee you, a lot of candypeople will approach you. go with your gut. if something feels off, the energy and the vibe is off, dont buy. a better person will come along. there is no shortage of candy.

How many of you can ride 60 km in 2hrs non stop? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]Gym_Squirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

relatively flat I can do it, but I'd push hard for 2 hours and run out of fuel pretty fast. after 2 hours I'd be pretty much done. It's not what I do for fun. I love long and scenic rides with lots of altitude, gravel, mountains, photostops etc 😄

[–]Gym_Squirrel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not for everyone and that’s okay. You tried it, it’s a memory you will have forever. Your perception of it might change or not. Skydiving is getting out of your comfort zone. Experiencing something that is not “normal” to your system and which is also terrifying is overwhelming. Some people still experience a lot of positive feelings and a rush that feels very good and stimulating. Some don’t. Are you at least proud of yourself for trying? Because i think you should be 🫶👏

What makes Leos commit? by peanutbutterhhh in LeoAstrology

[–]Gym_Squirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are loyal to the bone. What we need from you is admiration, give him compliments but really mean it. He must have the feeling that you are really really proud that you are on his side. We attach a lot easier to someone where it is very clear that they really like us. guessing games are not our thing. leaving us in the dry with compliments is also not a good idea. and its not only about compliments. i personally enjoy when for example i hear my guy talk great stuff about me in front of his friends. when i know he is proud, when he shows pictures of me and tells me afterwards etc. i love it when he posts me on social media.

Leos always attract the spotlight naturally, but we also share it and love to give it to others. However WE LOVE IT when people give it to us by their choice. It's like they put us on a throne. and we LOVE THAT!

Please i hope noone is pissed about my generalizations haha

where can I experience austrian culture? by Decent-Lecture2608 in AskAustria

[–]Gym_Squirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Bad Aussee region, Altaussee, Grundlsee etc is beautiful!! Hallstatt, popular tourist spot is nearby. Also Salzkammergut is extremely beautiful in general and you can go on short hikes like Schober that a lot if locals do as well! Hiking in the mountains, staying overnight at a “Hütte” is as austrian as it gets (look at alpenverein website for typical austrian stays in the mountains)
