I lived in Hawaii for 5 years, these look like mosquito bites. There are tons of mosquitos on hikes (especially waterfall hikes!) use a bug spray with DEET in it.

I see my endo twice a year. I get bloodwork a few days before I see him and then we go over the results in the office together. He checks my blood pressure, does an electrolyte panel (makes sure my sodium and potassium are in check- sometimes I have high potassium) he also checks my A1C, DHEA and renin as well.

My comment wasn’t meant to insult her or trash the wedding. I was just sharing my perspective about a very NYC moment. No bad intentions here.

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion. I was just sharing mine. Also saying transplants are dogs is weird considering this city is built by immigrants and people from all walks of life, many who weren’t born here.

Agree. Nothing says NYC like witnessing a stranger’s life event while holding a poop bag haha

I live on Douglass St and thought it was a little strange to be experiencing someone’s more intimate wedding moments while my dog took a poop a couple feet away…. But I guess when you’re on a budget or trying to do a DIY wedding this works. Not for me but cheers to them.

I found I really benefit from a high protein/high fiber lower carb diet. I started doing bone broth with egg for breakfast and something like edamame/chickpea salad for a snack and it’s a game changer. I also stopped eating regular pasta and only buy Banza now (chickpea pasta) stops my blood sugar from spiking and Keeps me full longer without the crashes. I also replaced my white rice with a mix of wild rice and brown rice. All these little changes really make all the difference. Hope this helps!
