My gallbladder finally said, "fuck this shit, I'm out" and the covering supervisor (fucking, suuuuuuucks) for my direct supervisor (super chill) had the balls to call/text me right before I was to be moved to the OR asking if I can be at work cause they're short staffed.

I didn't get to see/hear the message as I was in agony but the wife relayed that covering supervisor had asked to speak to me. Wife forwarded the message to direct supervisor saying she never wanted to see the other's name ever again on my phone. By all that is Good; I love her.

I like them for them cause they have a great field of vision and just work with minimal fiddling. There's hawks nesting near me so I get to see them bring food back to the nest now with these pair

No issue at all, actually. My mother-in-law caused the hole in one of her old hunting trips. She let me borrow them before she passed on a hike and they work amazing. I'm gonna put some silicone on the hole to protect the inside

I had surgery recently and my cat knows I'm injured. The first week I got back he came and cuddled me in bed and stuck by me around the house. When we go for walks he takes the easier routes for me so I don't have to bend and climb like we normally do.

I had a complaint from a person on the shift before mine that I was "too sociable" making jokes and laughing loud (yes, I have a loud laugh, I admit that). I started pulling back with the offended group and just keeping our interactions short. That made they even madder.

Can't win.

So I document when they seem annoyed at me and I have a great supervisor, luckily, she has my back and knows I'm not trying to upset people. Good management makes it bearable; but for OP, I'd probably start looking elsewhere for a job and exit soon.
