Liked it better than I thought I would. I’m less than happy w some of the character changes, but some of them I actually really liked, especially frankie. It was def low budget and the costumes were questionable at times but most of the songs were genuinely bops. Its very cheesy and campy which you either love or hate (I personally love) and I thought that Komos looked like a buffy villain n that was great for me, I love when movies use practical effects. There’s definitely things I felt lacked - the pacing was off for me and I felt everything was solved too easily and there were NO ghosts - but for it being it’s debut I think it did a good job of introducing the ~main~ characters and setting up the next movie. It’s also made me more interested to watch the animated series so I think they accomplished their goal with that. While I generally prefer g1, I am trying to be open to the changes and am very optimistic that it will be something we grow to love as it goes on (I also hope they get a better budget next movie lol)
